About the Author

In April 2011, at the age of 10, Matthew turned his love of reading into his first book. He worked on it all that summer, sometimes getting up at 6 AM to write down ideas that came to him in his dreams. When asked why he writes he will say, "I have an idea and HAVE to write it down." He is currently working on his sequel to Aliens in Disguise.

Matthew likes, having fun, playing games, and reading like a machine. He read all seven books of the "Harry Potter" series in one month. By age ten, he's read everything by Roald Dalhl, the whole Percy Jackson series (twice, maybe more), every Diary of a Wimpy Kid, all the Calvin and Hobbes/Garfield/Peanuts comics he could get his hands on, and he's beat Zelda: Ocarina of Time, Mario 64, Kirby, and Mario Galaxy 2. He also played Little League baseball and put in one year of Hapkido. He has completed Cub Scouts/Webelos and is currently a Boy Scout working towards his Eagle Badge.
