USA Today Bestseller

In Kristen Proby’s second novel in her Romancing Manhattan series, a playboy vows never to commit—until he meets the one woman he’s tempted to break his promise for.

Quinn Cavanaugh doesn’t do anything halfway. He drives fast, works hard, and plays even harder. And the word “commitment” doesn’t exist in his dictionary. He has no plans of settling down with one woman for he needs to be free to move on to the next big thing—whatever or whoever that may be. Each party knows the score going into it, and it’s all been working out fine. That is, until a sexy new colleague enters the scene.

Sienna Hendricks doesn’t give much thought to Quinn and the revolving door leading to his bedroom. She’s way too picky about who she shares her time or her body with and screwing around with a colleague isn’t part of her plan either. Quinn doesn’t intimidate her. And unlike most other members of her sex, she doesn’t melt into a puddle at his feet whenever he’s near. Most importantly, she has no issues telling him no.

But for a man who has the world at his feet, Quinn isn’t accustomed to being rejected. And he’s not about to let that change—no matter how persistent Sienna is. To his surprise, Sienna is everything he thought he’d never find. Pursuing her, and convincing her he's changed, is going to be the biggest challenge of his life. One he’s completely up for….

Quinn is a successful attorney who believes in work hard and play infrequently because of the first option. He and his brother and brother-in-law have a practice in Manhattan with a client who claims to own a park in the Bronx – an integral neighborhood playspace. His ‘proof’ of ownership is a 100+ year old IOU that has yet to be authenticated or validated. But, the holder is determined to claim ownership and start development. Sierra and her sister are still recovering from their grandfather’s death and the will reading: discovering that they had both been left significant bequests was beyond their expectations. But, with the claim against the park property, Sierra is determined to use her skills and experience as a city attorney to fight the claim – even going so far as to ‘team up’ with opposing council to discover the veracity of the documents This was fun – from the relationship between Sienna and Quinn to the ones with their families and the underlying deception about the documents coming to light and life. The story was full of the issues of trust and challenge that both brought to the table – but their underlying ‘rightness’ for one another shines through clearly. Throughout it all, there were moments to laugh, sigh and even want to shake both of them, but the ‘determined to get to the real truth” sense from them both was clearly evident. Proby added in moments from the other family members to ‘check back in” and gives this story a sense of ‘fate’ for the pairing of Sierra and Quinn, even as they both try to fight it… no avail. I received an eArc copy of the title from the publisher via Edelweiss for purpose of honest review. I was not compensated for this review: all conclusions are my own responsibility.

Instant attraction turns to insta-love in this entertaining enemies to lovers book, second in the Romancing Manhattan series. When opposing counsels, thrill-seeking playboy Quinn and sassy by the book Sierra, are thrown together on a case, the fine line between professional conduct & all consuming lust is impossible to ignore. It was fun to see them outside of work as the buttoned up Sierra & workaholic Quinn let loose & enjoy life more with someone to love. The case they were working was also intriguing as they raced the clock to fine century old clues. Kristin Proby always writes swoony romance with smart, sexy couples and wonderful supporting characters and this is no exception. It was nice to catch up with previous characters & I look forward to more books in this series.

All It Takes is the second book in Kristen Proby's Romancing Manhattan series and, although I don't usually like stories written in the first person with alternating POV chapters, Proby pulled me in with solid writing and great characters. Quinn Cavanaugh, an attorney in an incredibly successful law partnership with his brothers, likes to have everything under control. Sienna Hendricks is a city attorney who is organized, loves lists and rules, stability and playing it safe but is also competitive. They meet when they are on opposing sides of an inheritance issue involving Sienna's grandfather and wind up working together when a judge orders it. A steamy, hot chemistry is at work between the two as they plow through family secrets and deal with conflicts of interest. Sienna is great character, but I absolutely love Quinn!! He is really swoon-worthy. I also loved the police officer who stops Quinn for speeding and winds up giving him advice about women and relationships. "First of all, trust is a big thing....Listening is important too.....We all need to feel safe. That the love, the trust, and heart we put into each other is safe in our partner." While it is the second book in the series, it reads well on its own. I'm definitely looking forward to more of this series. I received a copy from the publisher via NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.

ALL IT TAKES by new-to-me author Kristen Proby is an engaging read with an unexpected twist at the end. The characters are interesting, and it was easy to become a part of their lives. I am a huge fan of big city romances, and this one just happens to take place in the busiest of them all, New York City. This is the second book from the ROMANCING MANHATTAN series, and it can be enjoyed as a standalone. Sienna Hendricks is a dedicated attorney working for the city. She could make the big bucks at a prestigious law firm, however, doing so would force her to give up her weekends and evenings. Sienna’s work schedule allows her to use artistic talents to paint and spend time with her family. She shares an instant attraction with Quinn Cavanaugh, opposing counsel to a case that personally involves her family. Quinn and his two brothers are founders of a very successful law firm. He is a workaholic, so when he finds time to unwind he lets his adventurous side take over. Sienna and Quinn are ordered by the judge to work together, to get to the truth of the matter that is near and dear to Sienna’s heart. Over time, they fall in love. Sienna and Quinn make a great couple. Ms. Proby does a wonderful job of evolving their relationship from colleagues, to friends, to lovers. Their connection is sexy and hot, and I loved how they communicated with each other, both in and out of the bedroom. I felt their love developing, and was cheering for them to be together from the moment I experienced their tangible chemistry. The nicely described secondary characters add a lot of enjoyment to the story. Overall, a solid read. LJT, Romance Junkies, 4 Hearts

Sienna and Quinn meet under very unusual circumstances whereby Sienna is blindsided by the stranged attending the reading of her beloved grandfathers will and throwing their family into a tailspin as a result. Sienna and Quinn become opposing counsel on a case 100 years old involving part of her grandfather’s estate – a city park. While the park is a focal point of the community it is situated within it is also a prime piece of real estate and as such worth millions for property development. It is ownership of the park that has come into question and resulted in the necessity of Quinn and Sienna working together to unearth proof of ownership within Sienna’s grandfather’s mountains of paperwork. The chemistry between Sienna and Quinn simmers below the surface while Sienna battles her emotions regarding the threat to her family’s legacy. Working side by side and spending a lot of time together serves to ignite more than just a physical connection between Sienna and Quinn. I loved how Sienna prioritized a work/life balance and the creative outlets she had for her emotions. Being with Sienna and witnessing the way in which she is able to make time for more than just work has Quinn re-evaluating his own life. The developing relationship between Sienna and Quinn is the main focus of All It Takes along with the character development with regard to the quality of life, there are a few surprises in store with regards to the case that brought Sienna and Quinn together and could well test the strength of their blossoming relationship!!!!!

Quinn and Sienna's is the second story in the series. It's fun and sexy and romantic with a bit of a mystery thrown in to mix things up. I was absorbed into the story and found myself thinking about it at work. What would happen? What direction would it go in? And I was never disappointed. Loved every minute of it! Can't wait for Carters HEA.

## FABULOUS. That's how I would describe this one. I loved this even more than Finn's story which was also amazing. Both hero and heroine were likeable and the banter was sexy and fun. They really got to know each other. Sure, they had the hots for each other but they had conversations, dates, and so much fun (including in the bedroom). Their connection was undeniable. This was a very fun & passionate read. Highly recommended. P.S. No cliffhanger, no dead wife, no manslut, no doormat, no secret baby, no ex girlfriend, and no cheating.

Kristen Proby’s Romancing Manhattan series takes me home. See, I’m a girl from whose heart never really left the Northeast. So, it’s a joy every time Kristen uses her incredible voice to describe my “home.” And All It Takes, does that. Sienna jumped off the pages to me as someone I would identify with as one of my relatives; a New Yorker that lives in the city and thrives on its energy. She’s practical, smart, sassy and has no problems going head to head with Quinn Cavanaugh; because he’s just wrong. Quinn surprised me in a good way. Maybe because I know the bad boy lawyers too well, but he just got under my heart with the way he loves his family so deeply. And it wasn’t long before the attraction that initially drew Sienna to him eventually pulled her into an orbit of his protection. But promises made need to be kept when the law needs to be upheld. And the law refuses to bend for no man. No woman. Not even for love. Another win by Kristen Proby!

All It Takes is the second installment in the Romancing Manhattan series. However, you can easily read it as a standalone. Quinn and Sienna meet as opposing attorneys but have some notable chemistry right away. I love them as a couple. It addition to the developing romance, there is an undercurrent of deceit going on regarding a piece of property that is supposed to be left to the city as stated in Sienna's grandfather's will. Tied in with all of this is a definite mystery as to who all is involved with trying to undermine this. This was a fun book to read with some sexy times thrown in. I really am looking forward to reading others in the series. Thank you to NetGalley and Harper Collins for this ARC in exchange for an honest review.

3.75 stars--ALL IT TAKES is the second instalment in Kristen Proby’s contemporary, adult ROMANCING MANHATTAN erotic, romance series focusing on threes brothers and attorneys: Finn, Carter and Quinn Cavanaugh. This is attorney Quinn Cavanagh, and attorney Sienna Hendricks’ story line. ALL IT TAKES can be read as a stand alone without any difficulty. Any important information from the previous story line is revealed where necessary. Told from dual first person perspectives (Quinn and Sienna) ALL IT TAKES follows the building relationship between opposing attorneys Quinn Cavanagh, and Sienna Hendricks. Sienna Hendricks’ grandfather recently died bequeathing an expensive piece of property, designated as park land, to the Bronx but there is an immediate objection when attorney Quinn Cavanaugh claims to have documentation that the land in question does not belong to the Hendricks’ family. A court order forces our couple to work toward a common goal, a goal to research and uncover the truth. What ensues is the building relationship and romance between Quinn and Sienna, and the potential fall-out when secrets and lies converge to destroy our heroine’s heart. Sienna Hendricks knows working with Quinn Cavanaugh on her grandfather’s case may be all kinds of wrong but when a judge forces our couple to work together, the sparks begin to fly, and the heart falls in love. Quinn Cavanaugh isn’t opposed to working with our story line heroine but convincing Sienna they should work together behind the scenes is a potential conflict of interest when Quinn is presented with information that could destroy the woman with whom he is falling in love. The relationship between Quinn and Sienna is one of immediate attraction but Sienna struggles working with a man who is determined to take away her grandfather’s legacy. Quinn is determined to make Sienna his own but secrets revealed will pull Sienna out of his life. The $ex scenes are intimate and passionate without the use of over the top, sexually graphic language and text. There is a large ensemble cast of secondary and supporting characters including Quinn’s brothers: Finn and London (All the Way #1), Carter Cavanagh and his daughter Gabby, and their mother Margaret; as well as the introduction of Sienna’s sister Lou; their parents, uncle Patrick; and real estate developer Bruce House. ALL IT TAKES is a story of family, secrets, betrayal and lies. The premise is engaging and captivating; the romance is seductive; the characters are sassy and sexy. ALL IT TAKES is a wonderful addition to Kristen Proby’s ROMANCING MANHATTEN series.

I had read the previous book in this series and I was interested in the brothers, so I was intrigued about this one. I liked Sienna and Quinn. They’re both motivated, passionate about what they do, and loyal to their families. It was easy to root for them and want everything to work out. I am intrigued at the set up for the next book and I am very happy to see the brothers talk about how Finn was a jerk in the first book. Plot wise, it was okay. My main complaint is that I didn’t really see the chemistry between Sienna and Quinn. Their relationship was very shallow and while they did talk, the topics weren’t about anything of value. Even though the time span was short, I would have liked to see a little more depth. Overall, it was a quick read with little angst and I’ll definitely be reading the next story. **Huge thanks to William Morrow for providing the arc free of charge**

Oh my God! It didn't take me very long to read this story it was that good! I even sneak-read at work on my tablet so I could keep reading and I finally stopped last night, right when my tablet was dying. So, so good! I am not going to give anything away and yes, it's the second book in the series but you don't have to have read the first one to totally LOVE this story. I also read the first book too and it's a fabulous story too. I have to point that one of the greatest things(besides the finding love part) was when there was a problem between the two of them, it wasn't this thing that one of them disappears, etc. This logically made sense but the ending was a total surprise. You. Have. To. Read. This. Book.

Such a sweet, addicting book. This is a standalone that is also part of Romancing Manhattan series, and this time we get Quinn (Finn's brother) and Sienna's story. One thing that I love is that, as usual with this author, it's sweet, sexy and oh so full of love. But somehow this series has all that but it's also different. I think it has a sobriety about it that we don't find in her other books, it's new, it's maybe more mature even, and I loved it so much. Don't get me wrong, I love all of her books and I love the lightness in them, but I love to see this new picture in this series, this sensitivity. Both of them are attorneys and, after her granfather's passing, she is faced with an unexpected issue on his will. And the issue is brought up by a big client Quinn represents. But the case is so peculiar that not only they are on opposing counsels, but they are induced into working together. And that brings so many feelings that maybe they should withhold. "'Sienna, can you honestly say that you don't feel anything when we're together?' 'I feel it. And I'm fighting it'" But keeping their feelings in check is easier said than done. And soon enough, those feelings become bigger than themselves. They have both great work ethic and they are trying to find the truth in their case, no matter who wins. And as they spend more time together, they become closer and closer, and they start to see that living without each other might not be an option. "The only way I can describe it is, I saw you for the first time, and I knew my life would never be the same. You are seated squarely in the heart of my being, Sienna" But the problem is that there are so many things they still don't know, and other things that only Quinn knows partly, and that might all it takes to break them apart. Unless they have all it takes to get through all that and still nurture their love.

This was such a sweet, and intriguing, enemies to lovers romance. Sienna Hendricks and Quinn Cavanaugh are opposites in many ways. Altho they are both attorneys, Quinn is a thrill seeker while Sienna overthinks and plans everything. They first meet when Quinn has a surprise client who threatens to take something very personal from Sienna's family. Sienna is beside herself and determined to prove them wrong. When Sienna and Quinn are forced to work together on the case, they soon learn more than they expected. They help each other get out of their comfort zones, take chances, and choose love. I thought Sienna and Quinn were so perfect together, and their chemistry was off the charts. This is a sweet, and heartwarming story with a plot twist that keeps you totally engaged. I haven't read the first book in this series but will definitely check it out.

Sienna does not believe her grandfather would have willing his land to the city. No way. She goes to court to prove it and finds herself ordered by the judge to work with Finn, the opposing counsel, to go through boxes and boxes of documents to sort things out. An unusual (btw) approach from the bench but one that works for this light, fun romance between two strong and smart individuals. Finn's big on family. I didn't read the first book but that's ok because while the earlier book was about his brother, the characters are so nicely fleshed out here that it didn't make a difference. The romance builds slowly and you get both of their points of view (love that). Thanks to Netgalley for the ARC. A good one if you are looking for an HEA!

I Love New York This is the second part of this series, both standalone books, but helpful to read the first one So you know who is Finn and London are. I loved the relationship that came out while having to work with each other, or against each other. Quinn and Sienna are a great couple and the relationship that they built is so good and is realistic. I was completely shocked near the end when you see how Sienna and Quinn got the case they are workng on and how everything ends. Kristen Proby did not disappoint and am awaiting any more books from her.
