Great story. From prisoner to mate and new relatives.

This book was very entertaining, and it was interesting to see how cheerful and confident Sarandon was regarding his innocence and his feelings about Jenna. Within its pages Author Terry Spear creates the world of family and friends who will do anything to help and support someone they care and love. This is very refreshing to read when the world around us portrays dysfunctional families as a norm. It also does a great job of tying in main characters from previous books to this series. For Sarandon his life gets turned upside down and he learns some things that shock he and his brothers. But their integrity comes shining through when faced with this unknown. Jenna has a one-track mind to get her man, but she is also interesting because she thinks rationally and logically about things, so she has the ability to see both sides of the story and act accordingly. I do think she might have gone a little faster with Sarandon than one would expect because of her profession but it all ties in with the storyline so eventually it no longer bothered me. This is a worthy read for those paranormal readers out there and I give it 4 STARS.

Terry Spear has written a masterful story of romance, drama and suspense in All's Fair in Love and Wolf. The setting is the area around Colorado Springs where bounty hunter (excuse me, that would be fugitive recovery agent) Jenna is tracking down a bail jumper, Sarandon. What she finds is a wolf shifter who turns the tables on her and sets out to prove his innocence. There are good wolves, bad wolves and wolves who are misguided. The plot is action-packed and the author ties all aspects of the novel by the end. This story grabs you from the very beginning until the last page. The romance is steamy but not vulgar, and the drama and suspense non-stop. This is a full length novel that keeps you interested in the characters as they search for whodunit on the way to the HEA ending.

Review: ALL’S FAIR IN LOVE AND WOLF by Terry Spear Publication Date: May 1, 2018 Genre: Paranormal Romance Reviewed by: Reading in Pajamas/ Donna Rated: 4.5 Stars This is a lovely romance blended in with a mystery. Jenna and Sarandon searched for clues, pulling in family and pack to navigate through the twists and turns. I enjoyed how everyone interacted and added a fun dimension to this cat and mouse story, they made you feel a part of it all, caring about their relationship as well as the criminal. This fun romance started out tame then sizzled. I liked it. *Review copy provided by NetGalley in exchange for an review.

This was more like a midseason filler episode of Dateline than a action packed ripped from the headlines episode of Law and Order. What set off the story was stupid, at least for a family of bounty hunters that have been at it for over half a century. Identity theft is a good premise, but there needs to be something done with the identity. The culprit did commit a crime under an assumed name, but it was one thing that was quickly and easily resolved. Jenna was an ok character but not really outstanding for the genre and she might as well have been human, since she seemed awestruck by pack life. Sarandon was a ok character also, I was glad that he at least wasn’t brooding and depressed. The romance was blah, and I found it odd that they kept telling everyone they are courting. It seemed a little high school to me. The ending was filled was a cop out, so the story fizzled instead of ending with a bng. Overall I was bored and disappointed while reading this book.

3.75 stars--detailed, complex, cleverly written 3.75 stars--ALL’S FAIR IN LOVE AND WOLF is the twenty-fifth instalment in Terry Spear’s contemporary adult HEART OF THE WOLF paranormal, romance series. This is Silver Town wolf Shifter Sarandon Silver, and bounty hunter, she-wolf Jenna St. James’s story line. ALL’S FAIR IN LOVE AND WOLF can be read as a stand alone without any difficulty. Any important information from the previous story lines is revealed where necessary. Told from third person perspective including Sarandon and Jenna, ALL’S FAIR IN LOVE AND WOLF focuses on wildlife tour operator and wolf shifter Sarandon Silver’s determination to prove his innocence when he is mistakenly targeted by a she wolf bounty hunter. Enter Jenna St. James, bounty hunter and wolf shifter, and the female with whom Sarandon will fall in love. What ensues is the slow building story line and romance between Jenna and Sarandon, as they search for the wolf impersonating our story line hero-a wolf whose resemblance to Sarandon goes more than skin deep. ALL’S FAIR IN LOVE AND WOLF is a detailed and complex tale with a large ensemble case of secondary and supporting characters; many twists and turns that bring our couple in contact with another pack, a couple of rogue wolves, and the probability that not only is Sarandon targeted in a case of mistaken identity but identity theft as well. The premise is cleverly written; the romance is slow to build as our couple struggle with the possibility of a long-distance relationship as such that neither one is willing to walk away from family and friends; the numerous characters are passionate and spirited including the introduction of the St. James family; the leading couple is energetic and sensual.
