Overview

Sienna Mills knows her alpha males.
They brood.
They growl.
They love the word "mine".
After spending her early twenties in and out of relationships with alphas, Sienna used her knowledge to found Alpha Mail, a booming business that allows women to sign up for emails, letters, and texts from their own brooding, red-blooded man.
Her star is on the rise and Sienna is attracting the interest of investors when a mysterious man starts messaging her about the true nature of an alpha. She's got it all wrong, he says, and he's willing to show her how a real man makes women respond.
The more Sienna hears from him, the more aggravated she becomes. Who does this anonymous, supposed alpha think he is, anyway?
And yet...she can't deny his messages are becoming the best part of her days. Commitment-phobic Sienna finds herself wanting more from her sensei of seduction. But is she willing to trust her heart to an alpha again?

I love this author. I was very disappointed that book was 2 pages long. Barnes and Noble should be ashamed that they even put this on there website to buy!

Alpha male turned out to be a beautiful story, full of love and deep emotion. Sienna has a business called Alpha Male, women sign up to email, text and phone gorgeous alpha men, she spends hours working making it profitable and helping her friend Carmen and her son Jack who is ill with Battens disease. She would like to expand and while looking for investors she starts receiving very intriguing emails, their messages begin to get a little racy but the author of her email wishes to stay anonymous. It's a male. But does she know him? He seems to know her. Is it safe to meet him? This was a book that had me hooked from start to finish. The storyline kept me guessing and smiling, and I shed a tear or two. It was beautiful, but Jack definitely stole my heart. A brilliant read, I loved it!

This was a lot different to anything else I've read for a while and for me it had highs and lows. The story started a little slow for me but it definitely picks up and it is a story that I wanted to keep reading to find out how all the threads were going to pan out. My main issue was that I felt that the story had a story line too many and while they are all tied up to certain extent, when I got to the end, I had a feeling of wanting and needing more and it felt a little unfinished to me. The author states at the end that there are a lots of different types of love and this book explores these and for me was the real success of this book. The friendship between the leading female and her best friend and her terminally ill son is touching and emotional and got to me throughout. Overall, this was an ok read for me. I was provided with a copy of this book from the Publisher; there was no inducement or obligation.

I had never read anything by Brenda Rothert before reading this book. Alpha Mail was an utterly enjoyable read. It has humor, tears, some OMG! moments that kept me thoroughly entertained. The characters are incredibly likable and relatable, and the book kept me guessing. All in all it was a really fun read, and i hope I see more of these characters. Reviewed by: Clare M.

I liked this book. I don't know why but I really like books where the characters talk through text or email. I liked Sienna. I can appreciate a woman focused on her career and helping a friend. I loved the concept of Alpha Mail. That was a unique element to the story. I liked Sienna and her anonymous benefactor. I knew who it was early on based on a hunch and a cheat. I liked him and I can see why he wanted to keep it a secret. I liked his idea of what it was to be an alpha and how it was a contrast to what Sienna felt women want. But overall, I liked them together. 3 solid stars

As the creator and owner of Alpha Mail, Sienna Mills is surrounded by strong men that know what women want. As for Sienna herself, between work and home life, well, she can't remember the last time that she even had a date. When messages begin appearing from a very alpha someone, it's not long before she has her very own alpha mail... I'm a fan of Brenda Rothert, and have enjoyed all of her books. I really like the premise for ALPHA MAIL, and I'd wanted to read it since I'd read the synopsis, but it really is so much more than the title would suggest. Brenda has written a richly layered book that touches on some very important topics, and, while I can't say much more than that for fear of spoiling the read, I can say that this book moved me. Laugh-out-loud moments, teary moments, heartwarming and heart-wrenching, this one has it all. Would I say that ALPHA MAIL is a love story? It definitely is, but it deals with the many faces of love, and does so in a way that will have me thinking about the characters and their story for a long time. What would I change? Nothing, except that I definitely need some more Coop and Carmen, so, Brenda, take note. One of the things that I like most about this story is that is shows yet another side of Brenda, and taps into a new aspect of her talents. ALPHA MAIL is a 4.5-star read for me, and I believe that fans both old and new will lose themselves in the story, and have their heart stolen by the characters, no question. This is a book that you'll want to read, so make sure that it's at the top of your TBR.

My Thoughts? I live for fresh spins on the typical repertoire of romance novels! Did you know it’s possible to fall in love with a character without even knowing who they are!? Well, it is. And it’s hot. The mystery man who is emailing Sienna made my toes tingle! I needed to know who he was, and the myriad of prospective Alpha’s kept me on my tingly toes. Bonus Points: Brenda ALWAYS writes these amazingly lovable, jump-off-the-page, independent women. We NEED MORE OF THIS. She writes them strong without it being annoying. Like “Oh, she can change her own tire” *Rolls Eyes* Her characters represent modern women, we are fierce without literary tropes, and Brenda knows this. #WOMENPOWER Warning: There’s a side plot which laces through the story and will rip your heart out. Prepare the band-aids and Vodka. Favorite Quotes: “This is unconditional love. It fuels me and guts me at the same time.” “Windshields are bigger than rear view mirrors for a reason, you know. Look forward, not back.”

4.5 Stars! I dare you not to fall in love with this book! Brenda Rothert has done it again with a sweet, sexy story of finding love in a place you never expected. This review will be brief, because spoilers are whack, yo! Suffice it to say, this book rocked my socks! Brenda Rothert has quite the knack for creating lovable characters and she really outdid herself in this book. With the exception of two minor characters who were a bit on the crazy side, I loved every single character in this book. Sienna has been burned by love. She is done with alpha males who are really alpha and done with men in general. She created this company, Alpha Mail, that provides a service to clients who want an alpha male without the complications of real-life meetings and relationships. Then, one day, she gets an email from a man claiming he is a real alpha and he knows how to to treat her right. He goes by RoughRider. I honestly thought RoughRider's real identity would remain a mystery longer than it did and, admittedly, I had an idea who he was, but Rothert did a nice job of throwing bread crumbs leading to a few different suspects. When the reveal happens, it is kind of awesome and a little sad all at the same time. The reveal happens about mid-way through the book, but it leads to a great twist in the story. Of course, our couple get their HEA. Then, there is this entire little substory going on that had me tearing up many times. One character in particular will weave his way into your heart and take up residence. I was sure Rothert was going to destroy me with a different outcome and I can't tell you the amount of relief I felt when she didn't go that way. However, this guy has some other people in his life that most certainly need their own book. **hint, hint, wink, wink** I can't recommend this book enough. It was a joy to read with the perfect amount of sweet, a side of sexy and the tiniest bit of angst. It was near perfection! A must read!!

This book has it all. I was a little hesitant to read it. Didn’t sound like my kind of book, looked a little quirky. I usually enjoy the author so I decided to give it a chance. And I am so glad I did. I laughed, I cried and I swooned. Yep, I said it, I swooned. I’m not one to usually use that word, but if the book fits.... Sienna is running her own business, Alpha Mail. She’s too busy with the business and helping her best friend Carmen raise her child to date. That is, until a secret admirer and a new business investor show up in her life. I devoured this book fairly quickly. It was an easy read and highly entertaining. I definitely recommend that everyone reads this book.

This steamy rom-com immediately intrigued me from the start! The idea of having someplace where a client can choose an alpha to talk with all without being in a relationship and yet can get what she needs met with a strong male she can flirt and chat with had me giddy. I mean how freaking COOL would that be? And then we get to the person who created Alpha Mail and she is bad-a** and has compassion, who is sweet and strong and who goes to work not just because she loves it, but to help a child who needs it. This story was BRILLIANT! Soft, sweet, sexy I think this story gives a woman hope and makes her dream big. It was charming and full of amazing heart that can make any ice-queen cry yet the heat intensity was OFF the charts HOT! Alpha Mail was EVERYTHING AMAZING! The secrecy behind the texts had me sighing and smiling and when I found out WHO the mystery man was I was IN LOVE! This book was RIVETING I tell you. I cried, I panted, I DREAMED about this book after reading it for goodness sakes, what is NOT to love about that? I can't express how very much I LOVED this story except to just say that I LOVED this book. I recommend you RUN and grab up this outstanding read. Alpha Mail gets a DREAMY FIVE SHOOTING STARS! It is one of the most dream worthy romances you can imagine. HIGHLY recommend it!

From the release of the blurb and cover reveal, this has been on my anticipated reading list for the fall. Sometimes I just want my romance to solely whisk me away for a few hours. Not wring me out or leave me with a book hangover. I want my story selection to make me want to dive back into my bookshelves for more of this genre I love. And Ms Rothert delivered for this reader. Now what can I tell you? I won't regurgitate the story because this is something to enjoy for yourself. However, you know I'm picky when it comes to heroines. Strong and no doormats apply. Sienna Mills clicks all my checkboxes and yet...she's balanced so her character doesn't come off as a man eater. She is independent and not needing or looking for Mr Right until he falls into her inbox. The secondary characters are delightful and add to the story without overshadowing the H/h interactions. This book is like falling into a sitcom and coming out with a smile. If you've never read Brenda Rothert's work, this is a great 'starter' story. It stands alone and gives you insight to her talent with a wonderful HEA. If you are a fan, this is one of those fun reads you can kick back on a lazy afternoon and binge on. 4.5 out of 5 stars.

This was such an awesome book, with an interesting concept. First off, Sienna Mills is a rock star. To take bad boyfriends/dates, and turn it into a cool and nifty business is pretty amazing. And it’s definitely not something you’ve ever heard about. She’s strong, determined, hard working, intelligent and all around amazing. Not to mention loyal, especially to her best friend and her son. When she starts getting emails from an anonymous “alpha”, who starts out just wanting to give advice, then things really get interesting. I’m not going to say anymore. I really don’t want to give anything away. Just know you’ll love her, you’ll love him, and you’ll love this book

Alpha Mail is meant to bring on the laughter and amp up the seduction. Ms. Rothert packs this showstopper with plenty of surprises. From the hotshot characters to the electrifying romance and the belly full of laughs, the party begins and ends with a hint of mystery and never backs down.
