This book is amazing. I love Edward Gorey's macabre and dark humour. The artwork is one of a kind and the writing is a treat.
I owe a good portion of my personality and sense of humor to Gorey. My eldest brother, who lived next door, had this and another of Gorey's books, and would let me peruse them at my leisure.
If you have an unusual sense of humor and intellect you'll enjoy this and other Edward Gorey selection.
I have but recently discovered Edward Gorey and will never be sane again. Tis not for the faint of heart.
