One Christmas, Eve Amy's Uncle Lawless takes her high into the woods of Cogan. He takes her to a place that some people know as One Tree Wood. It is called such because it is a natural clearing where one solitary tree grows. Amy is bewildered as to why he has brought her there, it is snowing and she is freezing cold.
