An Extremely Ungetatable Place is a lyrical exploration and reimagining of the time that George Orwell spent in a remote farmhouse called Barnhill on the Isle of Jura in the Hebrides, Scotland, where between 19461949 he lived and wrote his classic dystopian novel Nineteen EightyFour.
