The last thing Capital Series Grand Prix racer Hugh Braden wants after dating media-hungry leggy models and money-hungry fan girls is a blind date. But how could he turn down a favor to one of his best friends? Hugh expected the date to go poorly, but he didn't expect to be intensely attracted to the beautiful brown-eyed bartender who completely blows him off—and steals his every thought thereafter.

When Brianna's perfectly orchestrated life turns upside down, Hugh is there to help, softening the turmoil, and maybe even rescuing her heart from the lonely place where it has been hiding. Can a man who doesn't believe in fate and a woman who doesn't believe in true love find happiness in each other's arms forever?

Sigh, another wonderful Braden to swoon over. Hugh Braden lives a fast life with his racing, his model girlfriends, and his never-ending traveling. As the rest of his siblings start finding love and settling down, he realizes that the life he never thought he wanted doesn't sound so bad. Little did he realize that settling down included a sweet Brianna and her adorable little girl. I love how much respect Hugh shows to Brianna and Layla. He understands why he can't just jump into their life, he has to step back and let Brianna have most of the control since it is her daughter but he doesn't let her have all the control. He still charms her, romances her, and makes her fall in love with him all while learning how to open his heart and let her win his heart. Layla is the true princess of the story. She has the innocence of a child and no one wants to take that away from her. I love how the entire family and friends realize how important she is. They love her entirely, they give her all she needs and many of her wants, they teach her manners, and they expect her to respect others. I like that they teach her real life and let her learn lessons as they come up but they don't expect her to be a grown-up. While I love Brianna and Hugh, Layla is one of my favorites in this story.

This book was a great read and an amazing end to the Weston Braden series. I love the way that Hugh took Brianna's daughter into account for everything and really embraced becoming a parent to a child without holding back. It was interesting to watch him learn how to navigate and not spoil her all the time. I hope to see more Weston Bradens in future books!

This sweet story hit home because I was Bree almost 14 years ago. Focused on my child and denying that I would be interested in a man again. Hugh is one of those men who proves her wrong. He comes from such a loving, caring family and when they're in -- they're ALL in! He steps up (resembling an older Braden I know!) and proves to be impossible to resist. Layla brings out a side of him that I don't think any of us were expecting -- it was incredibly sweet and made me swoon! Both Bree and Hugh have pasts that haunt them; but I think it helps bring them together on a deeper level. It also helps them to find a love beyond what they once were -- And Then There Was Us (Hugh & Bree!) I have volunteered to share my review and all the opinions are 100% my own.

Hugh Braden doesn't do anything half-way including falling in love -- hard and fast. Braine Heart has a 12year plan to stay away from men until her daughter is 18. The collision between these two sends sparks flying, but is it enough for Bree to trust Hugh with her daughter's heart too? This is my favorite Weston Braden's story! Great read!

And Then There Was Us completely captivated me! I think Prince Hugh was a very appropriate name! This is a swoon worthy romance. Bree had to work to overcome her what-ifs, but Hugh is amazing. If you enjoy well written, fairy tale romances with great characters, you need to read this entire series!

Another strong, sweet, and slightly sexy novel from Addison Cole. And Then There Was Us is the sixth novel in the sweet with heat Weston Bradens series and a must-read for sweet romance lovers. This is Brianna and Hugh’s story and it was just as enticing and captivating as Addison Cole’s other novels in the series. Filled with strong independent characters that find love when they weren’t looking for it, this book inspires hope. You can’t pick the circumstances in which or with whom you fall in love but it certainly makes life interesting when two people come together that never imagined that their future would include one another. Over time people grow into their adulthood and in doing so, their perspective changes. One of life’s greatest joys is to love and be loved and to experience a forever love. Denying yourself love will only get you so far in life and allowing yourself to embrace that love can change your life in ways you never thought possible. I thoroughly enjoyed this book and highly recommend it to all who love sweet romances (where sexy scenes end at the bedroom door). While you’re at it, check out the whole series!

I have become a real fan of Addison Cole's Sweet with Heat series. They are not quite as racy as Melissa Foster's counterparts. I can recommend them to some of my church friends without worry what they will think of what I read. And Then There Was Us is no exception. I have always wondered how Hugh Braden was going to meet his perfect match. All of the Braden children have but Hugh, until this book. And, the meeting in this could not have been better anticipated. Hugh heads out on a blind date that could not go more wrong. I think one of the best parts of the book is him telling his friend that this one was beyond horrible and no more. But the date is not a true loss as the bartender catches his eye but doesn't give him the time of day. Brianna is working hard to support herself and her six year old daughter. She has decided it is easier to not date than to have strange men meeting the little one. Then, Hugh crashes into her life. Some would call it fate. Some would say kismet. I say it is perfect. The two of them - Hugh and Brianna - could not be more different. They make a perfect couple. Pick up a copy of And Then There Was Us and see what you think of the two of them. I have volunteered to share my review and all the opinions are 100% my own.

There is just something about these Braden men! Hugh is amazing! So loving, supportive, determined, tender, fun, and beautiful. I loved every interaction he had with both Brianna and Layla. Goodness he was just about perfect! Brianna was an amazing mom working hard to provide for her daughter. The two of them were the Two Musketeers! So cute! Layla was adorable and her interactions with everyone were priceless. To say I loved this story was an understatement. To see how patient and tender Hugh was with Brianna and Layla will make your heart swoon!! This is a true romantic story! I received this book in exchange for an honest review from the publisher.

Hugh Braden has always lived a fast life, had a love 'em and leave 'em kind of reputation. But watching his siblings all find their true loves and his dad having some medical issues has all got him thinking about his life. He decides to cut back on his racing and although he's not looking for a relationship at the moment, having a love like his parents had starts to have some appeal. So when a blind date goes bad, it's made better by meeting a bartender that takes his breath away. The problem is Bree has a 12 year plan that doesn't involve romance. She hasn't dated since having her daughter and since she's just turning 6 she has many years to wait until she's grown because the last thing Bree wants to do is mess up Layla by getting into a relationship and have the guy leave. Fate steps in (and a gentle nudge from some very well meaning friends!!) and Bree agrees to talk to him, which leads to him helping her when her car breaks down. The more she's with him, the more she wants from him but there's her daughter to consider. Hugh doesn't do slow but he works to win her trust and love so that this real life fairytale has a happy ever after! I received an ARC and am voluntarily leaving my review.

And Then There Was Us: Brianna Hart is a single mom with a twelve year plan of not dating until her 6 year old daughter turns 18. She works hard as a Bartender and a Photographer. She has no problem keeping her twelve year plan until she gets swept off her feet by a Capital Series Grand Prix racer, Hugh Braden. Hugh walked into her bar and couldn’t stop thinking of her. This is such a sweet story, Hugh is swoonworthy! He captures Bree’s heart, and then captures her daughter Layla’s heart as well. He’s their Prince in this fairy tale. I love the family aspect of this story and Addison Cole never fails to tell a wonderful family story.

I've read the other stories of the Weston siblings so had glimpses of Hugh. His character had been the player that you would expect from a handsome single celebrity. This had been true but he seemed to be changing and tiring of that lifestyle. He wants something more and is hoping to have a relationship like his siblings. And while on a horrible blind date, he meets Brianna. For Hugh, it was almost love at first sight. But he has to convince Brianna. Brianna is a young mother of a 6 year old daughter. Her focus has been raising her. Prince Hugh has his work cut out for him. The story is sweet and had me cheering Hugh and Bree on to their happily ever after. The book was a wonderful love story and left me with a hopeful and happy feeling. I received an advance copy and am voluntarily leaving a review.

And Then There Was Us is a nice, adorable read. The characters have a great connection. Brianna Heart is a loving, protective mother. She's used to being cautious and planning ahead. Hugh Braden is a caring, handsome man who is used to getting what he wants. He's not used to having to take things slow. Even with their different personalities, they have strong family values. Their connection is instant. The story is warm-hearted and shows emotions well. There's plenty of ups and downs with the main characters having such different lifestyles, yet they make it work. The story is well worth the read. Makes me want to read the steamy romance version. I received this story through an advance reader's copy. I volunteered to leave my review. All opinions are my own.

This has got to be my favorite book of the series (I think I say that with each!!!)...Hugh and Brianna have me from start to finish!!! I couldn't put this down...it just played with my emotions, from both sides!! Another 5 star read from Addison Cole and I can't wait for more!!!

This is one of my favorite books in the Sweet with Heat stories. I loved it. I really felt as though Hugh and Brianna could feel the connection right away, because sometimes you just *know*. I loved how protective Brianna felt for Layla as well, but Hugh showed her what a good man is and how he treats them both is very swoon worthy. Brianna had a few issues to get over, but when a situation came up and Hugh proved himself to her she was able to deal with them, as well as see what kind of man he is. They both showed a lot of growth in a short time, especially from what we had seen of Hugh in the previous Braden books. I absolutely loved the ending, it was great to see the whole family together, and to get a peek at the Remingtons.

This story is what I would call a modern day fairy tale. Hugh Braden is a well known race car driver. He’s always lived life in the fast lane, but watching all his brothers and sister settle down has made Hugh realize that something is missing in his own life. One night he stops in a local watering hole in Richmond for a drink and with just one look into the soulful eyes of Brianna Heart, Hugh knows that his whole world is about to change. Brianna Heart is a single mom who after finding out she was pregnant right after graduating college, put into effect an 18 year plan to devote her entire life to making sure her daughter was happy. She’s 6 years into the plan and has no problem keeping it, until Hugh Braden. All it took was seeing Hugh in the bar one night and she’s suddenly feeling like she may need to make some adjustments to her plan! This story tugged at my heartstrings. Brianna’s daughter, Layla, is absolutely adorable. The way that Hugh treats Brianna is the way every woman wishes she was treated, but the love he gives to Layla just melts your heart! Hugh was a true prince in Layla’s eyes and he treated Layla like a little princess. This is a story that everyone needs to read. It will have us all wishing for our very own prince. Great job Addison Cole! You’ve written another amazing story!

Loved it! Who hasn’t dreamed of having that fairy tale romance? The prince is no other then the famous race car driver Hugh Braden. He life revolves around travel, working hard and playing harder. Lately he sees how happy his siblings are with their families and their lives and can’t shake the feeling that he is missing out on what really matters - love. No one has peaked his interest. Usually the women he meets are all about what he is not who he is. That all changes the night he goes on horrible blind date set up by a friend. While at the bar his eye catches sight of a waitress with intriguing eyes. Brianna Hart is a single mom to her 6 year old daughter, Layla. Brianna has a 12 year plan – work hard, provide for her daughter and in 12 years then maybe she can allow herself get involved with someone. Brianna works 50 hours or more a week between all her jobs. Everything was fine until the day Hugh Braden walked into her life. Braden wants nothing more then to give Brianna and Layla the life they deserve. The problem is their schedules. Brianna works 50 hours a week or more and needs time with her daughter. He is a road warrior who racing 10 months of the year. How can they possibly make this work, will their love be strong enough… I received and ARC for my honest opinion.

If you want a book that gives you warm fuzzy feelings and you want to keep reading it through the night, then “And Then There Was Us’ is a great choice. I loved this book so much. I realized while reading it that it enveloped me in a warm romantic feeling. Hugh Braden, a race car driver, ends up in a small town bar to meet a blind date. The bartender/waitress is a hardworking single mom named Brianna who he is instantly attracted to. Needless to say the blind date didn’t last long and this story is the love story between Brianna and Hugh plus Brianna’s daughter Layla. For those who want a warm sweet romance like you might see in a Hallmark movie, then this is a perfect fit. It’s a great read.

Addison Cole has written the most touching story for the youngest of Hal Braden’s children. Hugh is a race car driver who always has a beautiful woman on his arm and as he leads a fast paced life. He is at his home for a few weeks before his last race of the season when he goes to an out of the way bar and meets the lovely Brianna Heart. Brianna has her own set of challenges being a single mom. This story is so tender and so touching. I shed tears during a most beautiful scene near the end of the book (no spoilers here but you will know it when you read it). Much praise for Addison Cole and this unexpectedly emotional story.

I've read the other Weston Braden stories & this was as amazing as the others. It's a true modern day fairy tale. In the other books we've had glimpses of Hugh but this time it was his turn to find his true love. He is a race car driver & has a reputation as a ladies man. Brianna is a waitress he met while on a blind date & he was interested in her. She is a single mom who has decided that she won't consider dating anyone til her young daughter Layla is grown. I enjoyed watching Hugh & Brianna doing activities together that also included her daughter. Hugh's bond with Layla was very sweet to watch.

When dreams and reality collide, there's no way to guess where the heart might end up. For Hugh Braden and Brianna Heart, the skies the limit. Hugh has everything a guy could want. An awesome career, a loving family and more money than he could ever spend in one lifetime. Yet his heart tells him that something is missing. When a blind date gives him a glimpse into forever, he'll stop at nothing to make his wish come true. Can this adrenaline junkie convince the girl of his dreams to open her heart to him? Love is risky business, but somehow Cole turns the heartache into a pleasurable experience. And Then There Was Us has winner stamped all over it.
