Pichl's immersive installation, composed of found objects taken out of context, beckons viewers to move among the former economic channels of divided Germany

German artist Andrea Pichl (born 1964) creates installations that resurface the architectural and cultural environments of Soviet-era Germany. In Values of Economy, Pichl assembles found objects into an environment inspired by the exchange of money and goods between East and West Germany.
