Audrey Carlan is a fan of hot books, so I had expectations that her book would be hot. It really, really, is. The sexual charisma between Aspen (aka Pen, aka Angel) and Hank (aka Stud), is some of the hottest I’ve seen on the page. Ever. I loved them and I was glad that there were so many of them. A mark of an erotic romance is for it to be, well, erotic. Don’t worry, they got out of bed often enough to interact with their page mates. Notable stand-out characters are a favorite of mine. “Angel Falling” gave me several to adore. I’ll spend time in the kitchen or at the grill with Ma, Hank’s mother, anytime. Aspen’s sister, London, is likewise someone I could enjoy spending time with. Psst, she’s going to “fall” in the next book. I want to read that! If I didn’t already have a best friend, I’d want Oliver, Aspen’s best friend and assistant, to be mine. Oliver has a boyfriend, Dean, who teaches country boy Hank that gay guys are people, too. It was a great attribute to Hank’s character when he made that jump. Jess, Hank’s sister-in-law, was also delightful. You’ve probably noticed that I didn’t say much about the story itself. I generally don’t in reviews, because of spoilers. What I want you to know about “Angel Falling” is that it is erotic, touchingly tender at times, funny at times, and a spicy way to spend your reading time. Hats off to Audrey Carlan!

Great book. Loved the characters

It’s all well and good to dream about the billionaire that you stumble upon who will sweep you away and has style, kink and is so messed up that you can’t help but get sucked into the drama. It is entirely another thing to read about a romance that every woman can have for herself. This is not a the stale boring rehashed tale of the lonely, cold business woman who desperately needs a man to be complete (yuck), but a tale of balance, real romance and real relationships with a solid dose of spice that will get your temperature rising. Sure, Aspen is a powerful business woman from a wealthy family, but the depth of her character development transcends her background – her brains and ambition would put her in a place of power regardless. Nerdy, controlled and beautiful , Aspen is a modern superwoman with her trusty sidekick, Ollie. Hank is an excellently written counter balance to our heroine. On face value, Hank is a blue-collar hick from Texas…or is he? Smart, ambitious, loyal and he knows what he wants (Aspen), waters run deep with a man who loves his dog and loves his family. Plus, I don’t know a woman who doesn't get weak in the knees over a man protects what he has and treats a woman with respect and old-school manners. Read it. Read it a couple of times. As much as I love the guilty pleasure of pure fantasy, I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE to read something I can touch, a story that I can put myself into. Bravo, Ms. Carlan. Thanks for writing a realistic, strong woman who is not a cold, stuck up B***h. Thanks for writing a real version of a man who gets his hands dirty because they do have brains, too. Well done. I’m looking forward to reading more from you.

You know the phrase “opposites attract?” Aspen and Hank could not be more different, but from afar Hank has had his eye on the beautiful, untouchable stranger, which is what saved her life when a construction site disaster could have been a fatal disaster. As Hank recovers from the injuries received from being impaled by a falling beam in an effort to save Aspen’s life, Aspen sees to all of his medical needs. His earthy masculinity and down-to-earth honesty is a far cry from the polished and fawning men Aspen has known. Even as Hank’s “take what he wants” attitude gets “up close and personal,” Aspen finds her response to his slightly Neanderthal methods a complete turn on, and he is winning her heart as well as her body. Her biggest fear? How would he fit into her high-powered New York life? Hank is a rancher from Texas, a hands on owner of his own construction firm, but his roots are firmly planted in the Texas soil, where family, honesty and earning every single callous is what makes a man. In bed, they are perfect, but neither could live the other’s life. Aspen has hundreds of employees that depend on her, she is rich, independent and a powerhouse in her world. Is there a compromise that can be reached or will their brief time together become a memory as the collision of their worlds must come to an end? Angel Falling by author Audrey Carlan is one of those contemporary, erotic romances that will threaten to melt your eyeballs and make you break out in a feverish sweat. If you are normally a little shy about erotica, take a chance on this romance, where the Big Apple meets the modern version of the Wild West, there is enough real story to make you laugh, gasp and love these characters. Supporting characters make this a completely fun read, as the comic relief of Aspen’s sister and ESPECIALLY her best friend and personal assistant, Oliver will make you laugh out loud! For me, Oliver was a true gem! The dialogue, both mental and verbal is filled with a real touch of “normalcy,” that makes the characters human. Aspen is a force to be reckoned with in the business world, Hank is pure country to the extreme, but I think he is hiding a great mind behind his façade. Ms. Carlan must write with steam coming out of her ears as each sensual moment nearly bursts into flames on the page with its raw intensity. She has a flare for mixing heat and humor, over the top characters and love that makes Falling Angel one of those guilty pleasures you’ll want to hideaway with! I received a review copy from Audrey Carlan in exchange for my honest review.

I gave her a try based on an ad. I liked this series. I started with Angel Falling and read all three books in the series one after the other. It has good character development, good sex scenes and a good plot.

A gifted copy was given in exchange for an honest review. (Indulgence Anthology) A beautiful love story. I like the relationship between all the characters, Aspen and Hank, Aspen and Ollie, Ollie and Dane, etc. The story is sweet, funny and full of love. All characters understand what love really means, to love the other person unconditionally. There is honesty in the characters, something that it is difficult to find nowadays and maybe that is the reason I love this story so much.

4.5 Steamy Stars! Favorite Quotes: “They were the color you couldn’t find in a box of crayons.  Those clear blue and gray eyes made me believe that I would submit to anything she asked and do whatever she wanted just so that I could continue to look at them.” “Are you kidding?  I’m married to a Jensen honey.  If Hank is anything like my Henry, and based on what you’re wearin’,” she pointed a finger up and down and then stopped at the collar of my shirt, “and that huge love bite there on your neck says he is, you could end up permanently bow-legged.”  My Review: This is my first experience reading Audrey Carlan and I enjoyed it so much, I plan to make my way through her body of work.  The first descriptor that comes to mind is haaawwtt!  The second descriptor would be comfortable.  It was a humorous, fun, spicy, and relaxing read as throughout most of the book, the characters were enjoying each other, having fun, and building a relationship, and I so appreciated that.  I am more than a bit burned out on angsty reads or ones where the characters are either in constant conflict with each other and themselves.  So I found this author’s easy breezy style to be just what I needed to lift my spirits, and keep me engaged and entertained.  The story was fresh, and the secondary characters are as interesting as the two headliners.  I can’t wait to see who is next in the series.

I received this book for my honest review. I have to thank my dear friend Cyndi Becker for telling me about this author and this amazing read. Come take this journey with Aspen (aka Angel) and Hank with me as I did with them. Angel-successful business woman with a heart of gold, and spunky Hank-Hot construction owner with a big heart and mind This couple reminds me of the television show Green Acres meets NYC but Green Acres stays for the long haul or does he? Taking this journey with them was erotic yet sensual and highly loving. I felt like I was invading a precious moment in time while reading this book. The proverbial fly on the wall is a constant reminder in this book. Each time I turned the page it felt like I was invading there space yet they knew I was there but just overseeing how things were progressing in their lives. Angel is the high society woman that dreams big and makes her dreams come true except in the love department. But, when circumstances arise that Hank saves her there is this jolt in time that brings that spark back into her life. They both know the spark is there and don’t deny it. Angel however wants to play coy at times but then when she feels that Hank has the same spark and is not afraid to admit it her life turns with a blink of an eye or was it that rod in Hanks pants that she just had to have a feel of? Hank is the construction owner that is building Angel’s latest creation and is injured while saving her. He immediately feels the spark with her and hence she is his Angel right from the start. He is the country boy raised on the farm and is very successful in his own right. He feels for her at first kiss and knows what he wants from there on out. He no way hides anything this country boy has all the right words along with the sex in his pants and is not afraid to use it in order to get what he wants for all eternity and he wants his Angel. Does he get what he wants? Does this couple make it? Do they fall happily and madly in love? Hmm guess you will have to pick up the book to find out. Kudos to this author for one amazing read that had me from page 1 and didn’t let me go until the very end and still had me wanting more of this couple. I love the way that you provided insight into two different worlds without straying from the building of love with these two. The sex is so hot in this book that you need glasses and glasses of ice water to keep a cool down going. Please pick up this hot hot hot read. You so will not be disappointed you will be amazed how hot the heat can get. Oh let me not forget you have Ollie the gay guy that loves Angel to pieces Dean is Ollie's better half and doesn't mind sharing Ollie till Hank comes into light. Please take the time and pick up this book you will so love it. Amazing Read.

The very first thing I need to say is that this book is HOT!!!! The word chemistry gets thrown around a lot, but this couple brings a whole new meaning to the concept. Opposites on all fronts, an act of fate literally throws then together, and the attraction is evident from the moment their eyes meet. Yes, I’m waxing poetic here, but that’s exactly what happens!  And their sexual interaction; OH MY LORD, it’s nothing short of a raging inferno that could melt the polar icecaps! If you like the idea of City meets Country and all the drama that it entails, then you will definitely love this book.  But be prepared, because our hero can be caveman overbearing, has a jealous streak a mile wide, and is often a little to Country hick for my liking. However having said that, he is also passionate, devoted and would die for the woman he loves. I thoroughly enjoyed this author’s first venture in the Erotic romance realm and look forward to her future books.

This was a nice read, the author had a wonderful writing style. I just could not get past a pipe falling out of the sky, going all the way through ones shoulder, with no pain meds after surgery and wanting sex in a day or so. With how complete this injury is I just do not believe it could have been done this way. So at this point the author lost me and never found me again. I did like the humor and I totally loved the characters. I loved Oliver he was a sweet heart for sure. Aspen is a very successful business woman who a few months earlier found her boyfriend messing around. Since then she has been nothing but business, no love life, no going out, just business. Hank is one hell of a hunk and a good old country boy who knows what he wants, although he knows he can’t have. She is way out of his league. He owns his own construction company and is working on the building Aspen owns. She sees her every day and he fantasy about her. She is the dream that will never come true. Then one day she is walking in and a pipe falls from the sky and is about to take Aspen out. Hank runs in to save the day and for his trouble he gets the pipe through his shoulder. Aspen is so shocked that a stranger would come to her aid. She finds out why he is in surgery that he is the one working on her building. She plans on taking care of him whatever he needs she will do. She moves him in her home, has a nurse come in and take care of him. This is where I have trouble with this story, he wakes up and there is his angel. She thinks he is hot and a stud. The next day she is playing with his penis and he is ready to give her a lay. Then that evening he is running out of bed to attack her. All though my husband said this is possible I do not agree. Although he does get a painful expression and said he is ok…. The rest of the story was great I loved Aspen and Hanks story, but the author had me until the pipe fall then I was lost and just couldn’t wrap my head around that. I did just finish the second one in this series (London Falling) and found I really like it better and the author has grown with her writing. These are two hot couples that have hot passion for each other, can do people from different tracks of life come together to make a lasting relationship or is it just going to be for the here and now? The plot was lovely along with the wonderful characters. I know others will enjoy this read where as I give it a 3.5.

I read this book as soon as I loaded it, and finished it the same night! I loved the characters and their attraction to one another. I really enjoyed hearing/seeing the story from both characters' point of view. I will say, at first I wasn't too keen on the accent that Hank had, but as I kept reading I came to enjoy it and loved 'hearing' it in my head. Everyone needs a little country in their lives and him being Aspen's selfless hero is icing on the cake for me! I really loved it and can't wait to enjoy more books from this author! Ihope you enjoy the book as much as I did.

Angel Falling is a sweet romance with hot sex scenes. Aspen is almost killed by a piece of pipe when her savior, Hank Jensen steps in. I loved how cliche yet unique this story was.   It is the perfect blend of hot and cold. Hank Jensen swoons any woman with his love for Aspen and I loved watching their relationship grow and change throughout the story.   From two different sides of the social change, Aspen sees all the things wrongs with the possibility of a relationship and is scared to even try. Yet something about Hank draws her in.   Audrey Carlan is a first time author for me and I thoroughly enjoyed Angel Falling. I recommend this for anyone that likes erotic sex with a side of sweet romance

I was blown away by this book. I am new to the Romance genre and was nervous about reading this kind of stuff.  I found that this book was incredibly well written, funny, erotic, and it kept me eager to turn the next page, even if it meant losing a few zzz's in the process. The characters are warm and easy to relate to in real world terms. The incredible love between Hank and Aspen is inspiring and  I found myself falling in love with each of them as they fell in love together. Awesome book and I am eager to read the next in this trilogy.  I highly recommend Angel Falling!
