Angiography is a medical imaging technique that is used to visualize the lumen of blood vessels and organs of the body, particularly the veins, arteries and heart chambers. The procedure is done by injecting a radio-opaque contrast agent into the blood stream of a patient, followed by X-ray based imaging like fluoroscopy.
