Start with a hot hockey hunk and a quirky beautiful teacher and you have an epic love story in the making. Maggie's missing pug brings them together. Spencer found the little dog at the side of the road and brought it home, his old lab was grieving the death of his second dog but the little pug has put a spring back in her step. Maggie is a huge hockey fan and when she finds Spencer (one of her Favorites) has her dog she is ready to take him back. This book shows the goodness of these two people. This a fast love story, these two are made for each other and they know it. The past rears it's ugly head and puts drama and angst right in the middle. Lots of emotion and feelings in this well-written love story.
I thought this was a really good. I laughed so hard from some of the crazy things that happened. Maggie Hudson lost her dog Kirby. Her friend saw Kirby on the tv show with Spencer Corbett the Dragon’s hockey player. Maggie chased down Spencer to get her beloved dog back. Spencer didn’t want to give back Kirby because of his older sick dog. After allowing Spencer to keep Kirby, Maggie visited her dog and they became close. Kate Willoughby book Animal Attraction is a book about friends falling in love and dealing with surprises. I love reading hockey books that shows the author’s knowledge of the game. It was fast paced and believable, I hated when it ended.
This book was so much fun! I really enjoyed the characters, and Kate Willoughby did a great job developing the characters making them entertaining and people you would love to know better, even characters I thought I wouldn’t like at first. I love that the plot line is something completely different than any other. I have never heard of characters meeting that way before!
