Army Wife is a first hand look at what it really takes to be an Army Wife! Vicki Cody gives an in-depth look of her 33 years being married to a soldier, from their humble beginnings to the struggles she faced as she often raised their two sons by herself and the constant moving around the country. It's only when her two sons follow in their father's footsteps of flying Apache helicopters in combat zones in Iraq and Afghanistan, that she faces her greatest challenge of being both a wife and mother to soldiers. This book is a well-written, first hand look at what it truly takes to be an Army wife. I loved everything about this book and how she told the truth about what really happens in the military life. Every emotion that Vicki felt during this journey comes out in this book and that to me, makes this book, a great book to read to understand more what this life is truly like. Thank You to Vicki Cody for sharing your story so others can finally understand what being a Army Wife is really like! I received this book from the BookSparks : The Magic Of Memoir Blog Tour in exchange for a honest review!
