About the Author

Sylvia Lavey has practiced and studied Hatha Yoga, and Tai Chi, exercises and meditation during the last twenty years. She was a vegan vegetarian for over a decade, spent two years as a raw foods vegetarian, several years as a lacto-ovo vegetarian, and now is a practicing organic pesca-vegetarian.

She has an M.A. degree from Antioch University in College Management, and her B.A. degree is from the University of Dayton in English and Philosophy.

She loves being out in nature; walking in the Glen or at the Arboretum, and growing herbs and flowers. She also enjoys brief visits from one of her deceased pet Dobermans.
