Fair Play Is Always the Right Way
Austin loves playing flag football for the Trentwood Tigers. There is only one problem. His team has lost six games in a row, and he doesn't like losing. At his next game, Austin's teammate has a plan to trick the other team. It works, but Austin knows his team cheated to win.
Coach Tony and Coach Lauren remind Austin the most important thing about football isn't winning—it's playing fair. When his team takes the field for their next game, will Austin choose to cheat again, or will he stand up for what's right? What would you do if you were in Austin's shoes?

This book is a great asset to my classroom. Along with the valuable lessons it brings great conversation. The book is beautifully illustrated and written.
Austin Plays Fair is an excellent, engaging book which teaches honesty and integrity to children. My son loves this book and asks to read it all of the time! It is very well written and has beautiful illustrations! There is a diverse cast of characters, which I think today's kids can better relate to. My son is very competitive and I have already seen the difference this book has made in his life. When he's getting frustrated playing a sport we relate back to what Austin did in the story we read. I highly recommend this book. You won't be disappointed! I received an advanced copy of this book from the publisher and am leaving my honest opinions.
What I liked most about Austin Plays Fair is that the story showed Austin making both choices and how those choices affected him. I feel a story of him only doing the right thing wouldn't have the same impact. Very well written and love the positive message! I received an advance copy from the publisher. This is an honest review from me, I was not influenced on what to say.
