Avernus is about an exploration into what happens when the search for life becomes a struggle for survival.After a successful search for life on Mars, the crew of the Phoenix Seven head back home. a wave of radiation sent out by a solar flare hits the ship leading the crew to a planet teaming with life with in our own universe. the crew crash lands and must struggle to survive against the elements of nature and an ever growing threat of the deadly life they brought with them from Mars.

About the Author

Steven Webb grew up in Phoenix where his imagination flourished while reading indoors to escape the long hot summers. His love of animals then took him to Colorado where he studied animal biology at Colorado State University all with the dream of one day becoming a Veterinarian. It was at this school that he first envisioned the worlds contained in Avernus. Avernus is his first book and he is already working on the next book in the series. During the day, he has a full schedule at OCJ Kids, a non-profit supporting foster children.
