A hot and hilarious new standalone from New York Times bestseller Kendall Ryan.

We met in a trapped elevator.

Emmett was on his way to work, sophisticated and handsome in his tailored suit and tie.

I was on my way to the sperm bank. Awkward, right?

At thirty-five, my life hadn't taken the path I thought it would and I was tired of waiting--I wanted a baby. And I was ready to take matters into my own hands to make it happen.

After our ill-fated elevator encounter, Emmett insisted on taking me to dinner--he also insisted on something else--that I ditch my plan involving a turkey baster and let him do the job. He would be my baby daddy. He was a wealthy and powerful CEO with little interest in diapers or playdates. And since he didn't want kids, I'd be on my own once his bun was in my oven, free to go my own way.

But once his baby was inside me, it was like a switch had been flipped, and I got a whole lot more than I ever bargained for.

This full-length standalone contains a hot, swoonworthy hero, lots of playful banter and some hot baby-making ! Enjoy.

A bit disgusting. Too much sreamy sex. A fair story, but sometimes I wanted to quit reading it. I read to the end, though. Entirely predictable. A good rainy day book.

Seemed like it could have been a good story, but with a 38 year old leading man who thinks and talks like a 13 year old, an F-bomb on almost every page and pretty much non stop graphic sex, it completely and totally turned me off.

## I didn't care for this book. So many things bugged me. A millionaire CEO offers to father a child "the old fashioned way" minutes after meeting a woman in an elevator. Then she agrees and starts making demands. She's rude and quite frankly a (b) itch. When he asks her to be his date to a family wedding, she asks "what's in it for me?". Really lady? Giving you a baby isn't enough? Naturally the hero is a manwhore galore, never going back for seconds. So this was out of character for him. Also, Jenna's bookstore is going under (maybe because she's never at work?). Why would she think this is a good time to be a single mom? And the conflict was ridiculous. They've been seeing each other for months and not once did they talk about work? They didn't know that they were both in the book business? Come ON. Then, BAM, next page it's resolved. Too many plot holes. Two stars was all I could manage.

This is a fun book to read. Loved the two main character and finding love at a later stage in their lives.

A little predictable, but a cute storyline. Liked the characters, both had similar baggage. Loved the HEA. Mjw

She can't run her business, she can't cook, she doesn't clean, she has a bad temper, she thinks all men are dishonest, and she has a short fuse. He should have left her on the floor of that elevator.

Good storyline

So there are a bunch of funny moments in the beginning. However, it seems like the middle of the story is replaced by nothing but steamy sex. Then picked up the ending of the story. I did love the the ending but didn’t feel like there was much to support their feelings for each other. Not a bad story though.

I loved Emmett, he meet Jenna on an elevator that gets stuck, she was on her way to get artificial insemination. While in the elevator they get to talking and he (a commitment phobe) and someone who doesn't believe in having kids while being a CEO, offers to be her baby daddy but no cups for him he wants the old fashion way!! Jenna is reluctant atfirst but he is gorgeous so why not but she wants it strictly professional yeah that pretty much goes out of the window..

The story line was how you would expect, but I found myself really enjoying the story and writing. It was heart warming and steamy at the same time. Super enjoyed!!

Rating: 4.5/5 Baby Daddy is everything you’re going to want in a book, swoon worthy, sexy and hilarious. Kendall Ryan managed to deliver such a heartwarming story, one that will leave you wanting for more. In this particular story we get to meet Jenna Porter, a thirty-five-year old bookstore owner who has stayed true to herself by wanting to make a name for herself. She has left things behind in order to pursue her dreams of opening her bookstore, and she is now ready to take the next step in her life by becoming a mother. But with no man by her side, Jenna decides to do things differently and consults a fertility clinic in hopes of getting pregnant. What she wasn’t expecting was to get trapped in an elevator on her way to clinic with a hot stranger by her side. While waiting to get rescued, both of them start a conversation, one that ultimately leads to Emmett offering to be the baby daddy of her future kid, with one condition that they both do things the old fashioned way. With sparks flying between them, they both start to realize just how much chemistry they have and Jenna agrees to his proposition. As the two start to get to know each other, the harder it becomes for Jenna to deny her feelings for Emmett, but with their agreement looming over them it’ll be up to her to decide if pursuing a relationship with him is worth it or not. As the CEO of his family’s company, Emmett knows that it takes hard work to be able to deliver and make his company a success. He doesn’t do serious relationships and he likes it that way. But the minute he sees Jenna walk into the elevator all bets are off and he offers to be her baby daddy the minute he finds out where she was heading. They’ll both get what they want out of the arrangement and everyone is happy. Needless to say, Emmett wasn’t expecting to develop any kind of feelings for Jenna and now he has to convince her that they might just be perfect for one another after all. I loved readying this book, the characters were funny and the story itself was very sweet. Not only were the characters relatable, but we get lots of steamy scenes to will keep you reading until the very end. Emmett is the playboy who is used to getting what he wants, but when he commits to Jenna he starts to change. We get to see him become sweeter than ever as he takes care of her or when he becomes protective of her. On the other hand, Jenna is brave and has a good heart. She knows that she’ll be a single mother and she is not afraid to take care of her baby on her own. Both of them are equally powerful characters who are not afraid to get what they want no matter what. Although I love this story, I didn’t like the jumps in between scenes in the story. I felt that there were some gaps that I wish the author could have elaborated on, but it all works out in the end. The ending will leave you swooning for the characters and the story as a whole. Kendall Ryan knows how to deliver a great romance and this was no different. I would highly recommend reading this book and others by the author, you will not regret it! ***ARC provided for blog tour purposes in return for an honest review.***

This book has it all - romance, laughter, tension, awkward situations, swoon worthy moments. I love how confident Jenna is. She is determined, career minded and a go getter! Life, situations, obstacles - they are not going to slow her down. She has her timeline, she has her goals and she WILL achieve them. To date, she is hands down one of my all-time favorite female characters. And Emmett, oh Emmett. Usually an overly cocky guy is obnoxious and a turn off, but not Emmett. His cockiness is also hilarious - there were several laugh out loud moments while reading this book. I love the way his character developed and grew throughout the book. It was gradual and not in a way where he was battling himself. This book reeled me in from the very beginning and left me wanting more! Kendall has knocked it out of the park once again!!

Jenna and Emmett are perfect together. Well written and delicious to the end.

Who knew getting stuck in an elevator would lead to such an entertaining story. Of course their chances of survival would not be high if they were seriously stuck. A bit predictable only in the fact if you try for a baby the old fashioned way, feelings have a high probability of coming into play. But this in no way takes away from the overall charm of Emmett and Jenna's story. "Ground rules" are laid out at the very beginning, but I loved how feelings quickly started changing but each was reluctant to let those feelings known. A few twists and surprises along the way. This is a wonderfully sexy book.

What do you do if you're a woman thats ready to have a baby, but there's no partner in the picture, and your biological clock has started ticking more loudly of late? Well, if you're Jenna Porter, you decide to take matters into your own hands, so to speak. But a funny thing happens on the way to the fertility clinic, a funny and very sexy thing, in the form of Emmett Smith. He's intrigued by the idea, and more than up to the challenge, of helping Jenna with her little problem. Let the games begin. I love a good romantic comedy. What's not to like about a feel-good read, one that fogs up the windows, while leaving you with some laugh-out-loud moments? I mean, I enjoy a good angsty read, too, but the lighter side definitely has its appeal, and BABY DADDY by author Kendall Ryan hits all of the marks. Jenna and Emmett have undeniable chemistry, the kind that engages right from the start. And, even though neither one wants more than the baby-making, it doesn't take long for all of the dratted feelings to kick in. Plenty of sexy times, yes, but the tender moments, the witty banter, the things that make a relationship just that, these are the things that I love the most about this book. Kendall is one of my go-to authors, whether it's her alpha males and strong women, or her rom-coms with plenty of heart. Jenna and Emmett might be one of my favorite of her couples ever, and I thoroughly enjoyed their story. 4.5 sweet, sexy, delightful stars for BABY DADDY; add this one to your TBR and enjoy.

4.5 Stars of sweet and sexy perfection OMG! Could this book be any more perfect?? I’m sure some people will question the “reality” of letting the hot, sexy suit-clad guy you get stuck in an elevator with convincing you to let him knock you up the natural way instead of the sperm bank you were going to use. Sure, I wouldn’t do it either in real life. But this is fiction, and it’s a romance. AND IT WAS FREAKING BRILLIANT! Baby Daddy was everything I was hoping for and more. And the only way your lady bits won’t melt into a puddle of goo is if you’re a guy and have the other kind of equipment. Jenna is used to going for what she wants. And with her own business up and running, even if it’s struggling a bit, she’s ready for the next thing in her dreams list: a baby. Tired of waiting for the right guy, she’s decided to go at it alone and be a single mom. After all, her own mother didn’t do such a bad job. She wasn’t counting on getting stuck with the guy of her dreams in an elevator at her first appointment with the clinic. Much less for the complete hotness that was Emmet to offer her to get her the baby she wants but the real fun way. Emmet’s d*ck has never steered him wrong, so when Jenna tells him what she wants, he’s all for lending her a helping hand…or any other body part needed. He’s way too busy running his family company to have a relationship, much less a family. He’d seen his own father crash and burn and he’s not about to repeat the same mistakes. So he’ll get the hot chick pregnant, and he’ll get to sex her out of his system by then. Probably. Even though both Jenna and Emmet are clear heading into their arrangement, things begin to change. And the more time they spend together, the more they realize just how perfect they work together. Clearly, if they just had some balls and talked about their growing feelings with the other everything would work itself out in a second. But where would be the fun in that, right? I totally loved Emmet. He starts off as an anti-commitment manwho', but soon we get to know where his issues come from and as it turns out, he’s really a complete cutie-pie. He was sweet, loving, sexy as hell and had some serious moves. He had his jerk reactions, but it was understandable. He totally made me swoon. Jenna was incredibly driven, smart and assertive. I loved how she went after what she wanted and didn’t get caught up in too much drama. I wish she could have been a bit more open about her feelings to Emmet, but I still loved how their relationship unfolded. With a slight “You’ve got mail” (only one of the best romance movies of all times IMHO) feel to the story, Baby Daddy was absolutely perfect for me. It’s fun and sweet, filled with awesome banter, hot as all hell baby-making shenanigans and one of the best book boyfriend’s I’ve read in a long time. The epilogue that just kept on giving was the cherry on the top of this fantastic story. *I voluntarily reviewed a complimentary copy of this book*
