RICHARD SLOANE travelled the world for twenty years teaching English before settling in Cambridge, England, also as a teacher. Now he is retired and is spending most of his time writing stories for children, inspired mainly by his two young daughters. He is also a volunteer disc jockey on his local hospital radio station, which reflects his love of music.
