Overview

For some people, time travel is a fantastic daydream, but for Gertie O'Leary it's just another magically induced accident.

Just when you thought things couldn't get weirder at the Paranormal Plantation, Gertie decides to jazz the place up with another DIY project.

Fuchsia's a great color, don't you agree?

Sure, it's great. But after Gertie mixes her favorite color with a heavy dose of untried witchcraft, creating a strange time-warping side effect, she and her paranormal posse land in the court of King Henry VIII.

You know what isn't great? Your friend loses her memory and tries to steal your boyfriend, you can't figure out how to get back home, and worse, you're accused of witchcraft!

Add in a pair of mischievous Sasquatches along with a curious dragon and it spells certain doom for Gertie and her friends as they take their magical buffoonery to the sixteenth century!

What a fun read

Gertie is at it again in this book with hilariously misadventures with her group of friends as they end up in Henry the VIII kingdom. You know Gertie and how trouble seems to gravitate to her and this book is no different so be prepared to laugh until you cry in this book. I received an advanced copy of this book for an honest review. This is book 2 of Tales from the Paranormal Plantation by the author.

This was a very fun, light book that any paranormal reader would enjoy. The characters are very quirky and there were several laugh out loud moments. I would recommend this book for travel, a beach read, or just when you're looking for a relaxing, humorous read.

This quick, fast paced book is without a doubt Gertie's latest, craziest, funniest misadventure into mayhem and madness, and believe me that is truly saying something... All she wanted to do is create a special color for her kitchen walls. A trip to Cosmos magic shop (without Cosmos) and a borrowed book (courtesy of Esmeralda) from the union library.... she got special alright.... and anyone (or thing) who touched the "special" paint, all ended up back in time to the Tutor era. It's an absolutely side splitting adventure of magical madness as Gertie and company try to fit in (epic fail) as they search for a way home. I had to wipe tears away in order to keep reading... Dirty Dancing at King Henry's castle?... Sasqutches smoking a bong?... And can you even imagine Esmeralda with amnesia?... I recommend this as a lighthearted get away.

Another winner! I love Gertie and her Paranormal Plantation and this book is just hysterical. I laughed until I cried. If you like your humor with a side of paranormal and a bit of sexy, you will love this book. Gertie is still adjusting to life in this century and is easily confused by words she doesn't understand or by misplaced guidance from witches with an ulterior motive. Before long, magical mayhem ensues and it is laugh out loud funny. Fans of the genre will love this book - it is a must read.

Oh, my goodness true to this author’s style this book had me in stitches. Literally, my stomach hurt from laughing so hard. We have Gertie and of course a few of her plantation creatures and pals. Gertie talks to Ezzy regarding her and Brad' relationship well that was her first mistake. Ezzy gives Gertie some kind of pill hahaha. From there paint and magic take form and as usual with these two nothing ever goes right. I can truly say this is one hysterically funny book. Yes, we get a little sexy, we get an adventure, we get friendships and love. Kudos' to the author for another fantastic read. I was gifted a copy of this book for my honest review
