I picked up this book at a local half priced book store and was completely caught off guard when my 6 year old daughter read Windy Pants Patrick "moms". I was so caught off guard that I reread the previous page and the current one to make sure I was not misunderstanding. Once I was done reading the pages I was very clear of what the author was portraying in this children's book. I feel parents should have the choice of when to talk to their children about homosexuality. It should not be imposed on them in a subliminal way. This book does not agree with the morals, beliefs and standards that we are instilling in our children but it did encouraged us to emphasize to our daughters about tolerance and loving everyone no matter if we agree with their lifestyle choice.
