BAD BLOOD is a story of friendship and loyalty. It also tells of betrayal, friendships torn apart, and how far the remnants fall. Ern, Champ, Bingo and Tone were childhood friends. Their friendship, more like a brotherhood, has grown and strengthened over the years. The senseless and tragic death of one, the unspoken leader, sends each man in his own direction, while still maintaining their friendship. However, the separation allows for envy and larceny to grow in the heart of one, triggering a series of events. One wrong move could mean disaster, or worse, death. BAD BLOOD will grab you. It qualifies as a good read and a great first effort. There were some editing issues, though you can tell there was effort put forth. But Tuffy tells such an entertaining tale that you'll overlook the flaws and keep reading on. Tuffy is what I call raw talent. He possesses obvious skill and talent, but he could use a little aid or guidance to bring out his full potential. With a solid and impressive debut, I expect to see great things from this author in the future. He's definitely on my radar. Reviewed by: Toni
