Overview

Trick cards, floating scarves, disappearing doves. Tim Swanson loves magic tricks. Someday he wants to be a real magician. Just like his all-time favorite performer, Amaz-O.

But then Tim goes to see Amaz-O's show. And he finds out his idol is really just a total grump. That's when Tim decides to steal the bag of tricks. Amaz-O's bag of secret tricks. Scary tricks.

Like the one with the multiplying red balls.

And all those hissing snakes...

This is an example of why I got tired of Goosebumps- no ghost story here- just cheesy paranormal. Tim is a kid obsessed with magic, who steals a magic kit of his favorite magician when he's ignored. The magician's kit is a little too real, and so is the magic- especially when Tim is turned into a rabbit to replace the magician.

With in R. L. Stine¿s book series, Goosebumps, there is a book called Bad Hare Day. This is a very interesting quick read that really surprises you in some parts. If you are into magic or books with a twist this is the book for you. In the book there is a young boy named Tim Swanson that is very interested in magic tricks and illusions. He tries tricks on people but they are all too amateur. Tim is desperate to but new tricks from the magic store, but they are all too expensive. Tim finds out that his hero of magic, Amaz-O, is doing a gig at the Midnight Mansion is his neighborhood. He goes to the show and is amazed by it all, but the end wasn¿t exactly what he thought it would be. Tim finds that magicians and famous people are not what they seem to be in public. He then does something that he will regret for a long time. In the end Tim is very excited considering he gets join the team for the rest of his life.

This book is BIG disappointment for Goosbumps lovers. It has a silly plot and its not frightening even for the most timid of people! If you like Goosbumps, DON'T READ THIS!!!

THIS BOOK WAS SO GREAT!!! I READ THIS BOOK A FEW MONTHS AGO. I LIKE TIM'S SISTER. SHE IS LIKE ALL LITTLE SISTERS. TIM DESERVES ALL THE MEAN STUFF SHE DOES TO HIM. WELL THERE IS COOL THINGS IN THIS BOOK. MY FAVORITE PART IS WHERE TIM PLAYS WITH THE MAGIC TRICKS. AND ALL THE MAGIC SNAKES ATTACK HIM. IT WAS GREAT. YOU HAVE TO READ THIS BOOK.
