Annie Maxwell was living the dream. She had an amazing boyfriend, a loving family, and was planning on moving to Singapore with her “almost” fiancé. But life had other plans. When Annie’s mom is diagnosed with cancer, she feels as though she needs to stay behind and be with her family through this difficult time. So Annie makes the difficult decision to not follow her dreams or at the very least, put them on hold in order to support her mom through treatment. What she doesn’t do, is discuss possible options with Joe. Joe Preston, the only child of a wealthy family, has lived his life trying to prove himself. All he’s ever wanted was his father’s approval, his parent’s love. So Joe allows his dad to manipulate him into accepting the job in Singapore as a steppingstone to further his career. Without Annie by his side, Joe gets caught up in the parties and things that he despises in the corporate world. After three miserable years, Joe accepts a job as the youngest CIO for a major banking institution in NYC. Joe moves back to NYC with hopes of making things right with Annie and her family. He just didn’t expect to “run” into her so soon. Bad Influence is absolutely the best novel in the series! Although this novel can be read as a stand-alone, I highly recommend reading this series in order. After witnessing her best friends heartbreaks and experiencing her own devastating breakup, Annie decides to do something to help her fellow women. Annie anonymously designs The Bad Bachelor app where women can rate, review their dates. It was never meant to harm anyone, but it does. With a stalker claiming to reveal her identity, Annie contacts Joseph for help. Will Joe be able to keep Annie safe while trying to convince her he’s her One True Love? Loved it, loved it, loved it! This story is about forgiveness, setting your hurt aside and allowing yourself a chance at true love. It’s about second chances and redemption. It’s about best friends, who may not always agree with each other and go weeks without speaking to each other, but ultimately KNOW they have each other’s backs. Best ending ever! I read a gifted copy and all opinions stated are my own.

The last of the Bad Bachelors series and I couldn't put this one down. This is Annie and Joe's story. Annie is the creator of the Bad Bachelors app that took off after her long term relationship with Joe ended over her choosing to stay with her Mother after she was diagnosed with cancer and not going to Singapore with Joe. For Joe this was a non-negotiable. Soon after his arrival, she sees her engagement ring on the hand of another woman and that pushed Annie out her heartbreak slump into forming this Bad Bachelors app. As we know from the previous books, her tracks are covered well and no-one knows she's behind the app-except her two best friends who found out by default. It did cause some problems with them initially but things resolved. Joe returns home after his time in Singapore and sees Annie. Joe's main problem is he's the overachieving son who no matter what he does, will never measure up to his father's unrealistic and cruel expectations. The guy is a real horses backside and Joe does his best to avoid him. Yet Joe still struggles. There's a major curveball in the story and someone has found Annie out. She tells Joe and through some of his connections and his own skills try and track down who is threatening Annie and to expose her, and worse to expose Joe. The twists are turns in the story are so skillfully written, we have reuniting of Joe and Annie, Annie still keeping her secret until she is forced to tell Joe about the app and the underlying suspense of who might be after her and the threats. I couldn't put this one down and really loved Joe and Annie. Annie was a little stubborn at times, but that's who she was. I loved Joe. This is the kind of book that I thought about after I finished reading it. I don't run into those often. Bravo Stephanie! Fantastic story! I loved every single minute.

Annie and Joe’s second chance story was a story that really resonated with me, as I can absolutely relate to the situation. I enjoyed Bad Influence by Stefanie London, book three in her Bad Bachelor series. Annie was a strong and independent heroine, who had her life figured out and planned; at least until her fiancée left her when she needed him most. Then she finds posted pictures of him with another woman, wearing her engagement ring. In order to make sure other women avoid guys like her ex Annie created the Bad Bachelor app. What was supposed to be a good thing this app made Annie one of the most wanted and least liked woman, except no one knew who she was. If that wasn’t enough, Annie can’t forget Joe, no matter how hard she tries. Joe thought he would finally gain his father’s acceptance by taking a job oversea, but once there realized he made the biggest mistake of his life leaving Annie behind. Now Joe is back and he wants to make things right with Annie; but she won’t fall for him again. That is until a hacker threatens Annie’s safety while determined to bring down her app. With Joe’s experience in computer security Annie turns to him for help. Joe has just been given the opportunity he needed to prove he’s changed, willing to put her first and oh by the way, he has never stopped loving her. Annie needs to make a difficult choice, Joe, Bad Bachelors, her family, or her friends; which matters the most. I admired the strength Annie had to stand up for what she believed was right. Family mattered to her. Her family had loved her unconditionally and her back. I felt for Joe, growing up unable to ever meet his father’s expectations. His was not a normal childhood and until meeting Annie’s family did not understand how a real family functioned. I loved how Annie’s family accepted Joe and made him a member of theirs. I also was pleased that Joe finally stood up for what he wanted and would not accept anything less from anyone. Ms. London wrote a wonderful, steamy, suspenseful and emotional story that is not to be missed. She provided a tale rich with sexual chemistry, amusing banter, and endearing characters giving Annie and Joe a second chance at having a true love. I highly recommend Bad Influence to other readers. I voluntarily reviewed a complimentary copy of this book.

Wow, what a totally awesome novel from author Stefanie London. Bad Influence grabs you right from the beginning and the intriguing roller-coaster ride never loses momentum. Main characters Annie Maxwell and Joe Preston evolve into two brand new people by the end of the story. This is the third and final book from Ms. London's Bad Bachelors series and it can be enjoyed as a standalone. Three years ago Annie and Joe were madly in love and relocating to Singapore for Joe's technology career in corporate banking. At the last second, Annie found out her mother had cancer and decided to remain in New York City. During this turbulent time, Annie developed Bad Bachelors, a local app/website for women to leave reviews about the the men they dated. Although the app is a success, some of the negatively surrounding it is harrowing. Joe is happy to be back home in NYC, after three years of hard work and a broken engagement. His new position as CIO for a large bank is everything he thought he wanted for himself, but he was wrong. Running into Annie at "their place" only confirmed that the love they once shared is still alive and well. So when Annie's app puts her safety in jeopardy, Joe is the one she calls for help. This is a well-written novel book about courage and love, that twists and turns in all the right places. Annie and Joe's love was tangible and their sexy times were quite hot. Joe exuded a dominance that I found quite attractive. The secondary characters, family members and friends, added a lot of genuineness to the plot. Joe's father was beyond manipulative, while Annie's mom was a true Mama Bear. Overall, a solid romantic read that should not be missed. Complimentary copy provided by the publisher via NetGalley.

Dramatic, emotional, and sizzling! Bad Influence is a heartwarming, passionate, second-chance romance that takes us into the lives of the resolute, intelligent, Annie and the charismatic, hardworking Joe as they discover that even though they let each other slip away once, the heart wants whom the heart wants, and some things are worth fighting for. The writing is smooth and crisp. The characters are smart, lovable, and alluring. And the plot is a wonderful blend of life, love, familial pressure, friendship, sizzling romance, introspection, happiness, and a little danger. Bad Influence is the third and final story in the Bad Bachelors series, and even though it’s a little bittersweet to say goodbye to the characters we’ve come to know and love from the previous novels, it is nevertheless a lovely way to catch up on the whole gang and give Annie and Joe the happy-ever-after ending they deserve.

This is book 3 in the Bad Bachelor's series and can be read as a stand alone, although the others are good books as well and show the relationship this main character has with those characters. This one is about Annie and Joe. Annie and Joe had been together for a very long time. Until he left her behind to chase his career when her mother got sick. She thought they were on the verge of getting engaged (and had even seen the ring) and the next she see's it, it's on another woman's finger. So in order to help women not be duped by men like her ex, she created the app Bad Bachelor's. But even 3 years later, she hasn't forgotten him or gotten over what happened. Joe knew his biggest mistake was leaving Annie. He has moved back to town and he want's to make amends, and try to see if there is a way to get back what he lost. But she is fighting him the whole way, and he doesn't think he has a chance. But when someone starts threatening Annie, the only one she knows to turn to is Joe. But will this be their fresh start? Or will it finally be an ending. I really liked most of this book. Annie definitely is a woman who was completely shattered when the man she loved not only left her but he immediately took up with another woman. And I don't blame her a bit. I also don't blame her for her reasoning behind her app. Men can be dogs when it comes to women, and I definitely love the idea of it! However there are also scornful women who love to just dole out revenge, even when it is unnecessary. Joe was part of my drawback with this book. I really wanted to smack him around. Not only does he just leave when Annie's mom is sick and not understand her reasoning for staying behind, but he doesn't stand up to his parents and put his foot down on how they treat her. I didn't like him at some points. Which is my only reason for giving this book a 4 instead of a 5. But he does redeem himself in the end and realize what is truly important, which brought him up to a more likable character. This was a great way to end this series!

LOVED this book!!! This is the final novel in the series and in it, we finally learn Annie's story and why she created Bad Bachelors. When the catalyst for Bad Bachelors returns to NYC, Annie is forced to face their past and take a hard look at her life. When a threat increases her stress level, she turns to Joseph, the last man she should ever read out to.... I thoroughly enjoyed this novel and found I couldn't put it down. I loved learning Annie's story and meeting her family, while also learning about Joseph. While I didn't care for Annie much in the prior books, I found that I loved her in this book and felt invested in her story. If you enjoy the genre, you will love this book. While it is part of a series, it is a stand alone novel, however, it's so good that you really owe to yourself to read them all. The author is on my must read authors' list.

The emotional conclusion of the Bad Bachelors series has arrived and it's amazing! Without question, this is some of Stefanie London's best work to date. She paved the way for this story with the first two books in the series where we got to know a couple of the guys who got hurt by the app Annie developed ... then later paired up with her best friends where she got to hear about the grief it was causing while she tried to rationalize the good in it. Nothing prepared us for the true story behind it though. With this final book, we get to see what drove Annie to the point of unleashing this app on New York, and why she feels she's helping people. Annie was likable, but also had a bit not to like about her. I felt her pain and frustration and even betrayal, but I felt Joe's very strongly too. There was redemption needed on both sides, and London managed to bring it in a really powerful way. Really loved this series! Annie Maxwell was on the cusp of a new chapter with the love of her life when in the blink of an eye it all came crumbling down around her. She could no longer go chase their dreams, and he chose to do it without her. He went on with his life, flaunting a new woman by his side with what she knew was supposed to have been HER ring on the new fiancee's finger, and Annie got even in the only way she knew how. By creating the Bad Bachelors app to help women learn how to spot a man that was going to leave her heartbroken from a mile away. Bank executive Joseph Preston is returning home to New York to see if there's any chance of gaining Annie's forgiveness. He spent three years in Singapore trying to pretend like he was over her, but he's finally admitting to himself that he never stopped loving her. He tries to talk to her, but she's putting up roadblocks ... until danger surfaces and she needs computer expertise that only he can give her to find out who's hacking her app and getting way too close to her personal space!

LOVED IT!!!! I really liked the first 2 books in this series, but this one is my favorite. I was a little nervous going into reading this book. In the previous 2 books Annie comes across as quite unlikable and frustrating; and it is a second chance story - not my favorite. But, Stefanie pulled it off. I really enjoyed this book and felt it was a very satisfying conclusion to the Bad Bachelor trilogy. I have to admit I really appreciated the growth that was shown in the lead characters. I totally fell in love with them both. Sometimes it is so hard to see things from another perspective, and these two had to work really hard to get there. I have to admit I was crying at times while reading it, perhaps that's why I liked this book so much. Thank you Stefanie for an incredible read. Annie and Joe are awesome.
