The book, Bad Kitty, by Nick Bruel is a fantasy book about a kitty name Bad Kitty that is always happy, healthy, and he always has a lot of energy. But one morning, Bad Kitty did not want to eat or jump around like always. He just wanted to sleep. But then his owner realize he was sick so he decided to take him to…the vet! The problem is Bad Kitty is afraid of the vet. The theme of the story is about, not to be afraid of something. For example, when they arrived at the vet Kitty turned very crazy, so they had to put him in a cage. When they were inside the doctor open the cage… then he grabbed Kitty and Kitty scratched the doctor’s hand! Then after that Kitty felt so tired he slept. Then one hour later Kitty woke up, but then he realized it was just a dream and he did not had to be scared. I would recommend the book to others third or fourth graders because it is very interesting. For example, it was very interesting when Kitty was scared to go to the vet. Another example is that is very sad because Kitty was scared to go that he even scratched the doctor’s hand.
