This short was a bit of a disappointment. It just stopped without a conclusion. I really enjoy Maggie and Jeff's romance and adventures in L L Bartlett's Jeff Risneck mystery series and was hoping for a light hearted Christmas comedy. After some of the stuff this couple has been through, I was hoping they could have some holiday fun, instead they faced hate, prejudices and contempt and broke up, even though Jeff saved the day. This is the first Bartlett book, I have not really liked. AD

I have enjoyed most of this series, but this one was a complrte waste of time & money...the story ends without being finished...what a waste!

Don't judge the rest of the short stories by this one. It shows Maggie's family's resistance to Jeff. And then it stops. It's as if Bartlett sent it out to the publisher and somehow left 5 pages off. (Please? Give us the missing pages, and soon!)
