Another great addition to this series. My only complaint is that the formatting seems off on every single book in the series, with paragraphs broke up weirdly. It's a bit distracting.

I can't say enough good things about this book. It like all its predecessors are must reads! Please keep them coming!

This book is a good read and I wouldn't have missed it. It's just not up to the author's usual standards. It gets off to a slow start and the main characters really needed more time or interaction for a connection to build. There is a problem with time inconsistencies as well. On the plus side there was only one word usage error in this book not the usual half dozen or more I typically find. A little pet peeve of mine that most won't notice. None of this will stop me from reading her next book tho. She's really a terrific author and I'm very happy that I still have many of her books to read. cjbevil

There were too many inconsistencies and it was like I was missing a whole chapter in their relationship right after the wall collapse and her dad showed up- it was weird. Her eye color was different from one page from the next and like the other person said there just wasn't any connection with these two whatsoever. Its like a totally different person wrote it.

4 star The story has laughs, pain, murder, secrets, suspense, love, and heartbreak. If you have not read the below I would recommend reading those books(s) first Center Mass (Code 11-KPD Swat) Double Tap (Code 11- KPD SWAT #2) This is Memphis and Lachlan’s story. They are neighbors but he saved her once. They spend time together but after a really horrible day at work Lachlan pushes her away. Can he convince her that he does want her? When they get pulled into an investigation about dogs can they work together to take down the bad guys? Or will they bad guys get them before they can take them out? If they get taken who is going to be able to find them and help them? Will they be able to be rescued? After all the secrets come out will Memphis be able to trust anyone? I loved these characters and also the side characters. I felt I was able to connect with the characters and the story was a great read. I highly recommend this book and can’t wait for the next story from this author.

There was no real connection, no real reason to care if they worked out.

Love the books but honestly drives me crazy dates and ages don't match. Her dad's been a police officer for 40 years but yet he entered the policy academy when her mom was six months pregnant with her yet she's only 20??? Other errors too but that's the biggest . Get a better editor .

Bought the book, but cannot read it because of formatting issues (line breaks everywhere, indents). Have contacted BN Customer Service and they are pursuing issue with publisher I believe.
