About the Author
Martha Hamlett has been writing poems and stories as a hobby for many years. She has had several poems published and has read her stories to Kindergarten to 3rd grade students over the years in the school systems in and around her home in Lynchburg, Virginia. Now she wants to share those stories with others so that they can enjoy them as much as her home-town children have. Bats in the Air, Bats in My Hair is a re-telling of a crazy night at her own Grandmother's house when she was 10. With the help of Davey Morgan, an aspiring illustrator and photographer from Greenville, South Carolina who honed his talents while studying Visual Art at Erskine College, she has been able to create a book filled with vibrant color that will delight many for years to come.
