26 year-old Beatrice Cunningham owns and manages the only grocery store in the small and quaint Newtown, Tennessee. She lives in a cabin in Lonesome Valley, a name her father gave their home. One night Beatrice is awakened by a gun shot. That is when things begin to change in her life and in the lives of the folks of Newtown.
