Becoming Dragon (Dragon Point, #1)

Dragons are here. Eve always has great stories and I love her sense of humor that she shares with her characters. What could be better than laughter and sexy times combined in the same story. If you are a fan of Eve's, then you will enjoy this story. If you have never read any of her stories, this is a good place to start.

A different set of shifters this time that are a lot more quirky. Good books that continue a theme from a previous set of books.

I have purchased many of this author's books, and this series is one I preordered the other books because I enjoyed it so much. The quirky female lead Aimi spears crazy to Brandon/Brand who escaped a hellish scientific torture, changing his gator shifter-self into what he considers a monster reptilian biped. Even though Brandon/Brand gets free, he cannot shift back into his human form, until a silver hair beauty spots him on a rooftop, claims that he is now her mate under Sept rules, and turns his life upside down in, a good way. As he learns of a completely different culture, unlike his shifter background. Great book with lots of sexy banter, fight scenes, and more. Kitsune

The book was okay. I would have found it better if every third or fourth sentence wasn't throwing an F-bomb. Wondering if she had a quota to fulfill because the word was used even when there was no reason to do so. I expect better from authors I read, even if they are contemporary.

I want to read the book it looks really good but mom wont get it for me she wont

This book took me a little while to get into and the beginning was a little slow but when you get past that it is a very good book. The plot is fantastic and it has some different twists that you would not have been able to see coming. The characters were absolutely delicious, Brandon and Aimi are both headstrong and yet they are so very weak when it comes to giving their hearts away. But who isn't? I think their willingness to fight for what they want and their passion for one another was awe inspiring. Brandon is only thinking about one thing, how to save his sister. After he is turned into a "monster" he will do anything to get her away from their madman of an uncle. Even if it means teaming up with a delusional, delicious, hot female who believes she and her whole family, oh and him, are dragons. She's crazy because he is a lowly alligator who lost that part of himself and is now a disgusting being. Aimi is rich and extremely entitled, and maybe just a bit crazy. Okay not just a bit. But now that her time is coming where she will no longer have a choice in a mate for herself she is doing everything she can to find a suitable mate while avoiding the one her mother thinks she should bind herself to. In comes this random guy who is trespassing in Dragon territory. Wait he's a dragon? How is he not mated? Aimi decides he is now hers and she will do anything to make their mating happen even if it means making a bargain to get his sister back. This was an action packed, extremely sensual paranormal romance. It was good but again it took a while to get into. I have high hopes for the next books in the series and I can not wait to start reading them next. I have liked many of Ms. Langlais stories and although this was not one of my favorites it was still a good read. ~A Book Obsessed Chicks Review Team Selection

Not having read Eve’s books before, but meaning to, I didn’t know what to expect. It’s a brand new spin off series from her Bitten Point books. I was thrilled with this book. I was quickly immersed in the story and never felt the need for a break. Aimi is strong, knows what she wants and goes for it, that being Brandon. I have a feeling he doesn’t stand a chance. It was fun to meet Aimi. She’s my kind of gal. And the antics of her odd family gave me plenty of chuckles. Brandon grew on my quickly. He’s got a lot to handle, trying to adjust to his new self. He escaped from a facility that experimented on him and he’ll forever be changed by it. He doesn’t know what to make of the sexy and determined Aimi, who states he’s hers. The chemistry between these two characters was electric. I was anxious to see who would give in to who and had such fun with their back and forth banter. There’s plenty of snarky dialogue, which is always a win with me. Lots of intrigue, people needing rescuing, and some steamy encounters to warm you up on a cold night. I’ve been wanting to try Eve’s Bitten Point series, and after having such fun with this book, now I have to. About the narrator. Chandra Skye does a fabulous job. She even manages to pull off the male characters convincingly. I’ll be keeping an eye out for her. I received a complimentary copy from Tantor Audible Books. My review is voluntarily given.

Amazing book! Once again she hit it out of the park with this one. Can't wait for the whole series. Aimi is a riot. Brandon is a manly man who is perfect for her. Totally recommend this book!!!

Damn. Funny. Original. The heroine was a blast. She was a snob and he never knew what hit him.

I couldn't stop until I finished! It had a perfect blend of humor, suspense, and romance. I don't find many books about dragons that I can truly enjoy, but I'm happy to say that this author did not disappoint. I can't wait for the next book!

A fantastic start to a wonderful spin off. I wholeheartedly recommend reading Gator's Challenge (Bitten Point #4) before reading this so you understand better where Brandon is coming from. It isn’t necessary but it would add depth. Brandon is an alligator shifter who has been experimented upon. He is now other. Aimi recognizes him as hers but she is going to have to convince Brandon he isn’t a monster he is so much more. Can the redneck gator and the uptown dragon make a go of it? Becoming Dragon is a sweet, funny and sometimes serious story that will make you think, laugh and sigh in all the best ways. I can hardly wait for the next installment.

175 pages. I did not like this book, could not get into it. Characters too strange and not likable. I will not buy anymore in this series. I also didn't like her Kodiak Point Series, Lion Pride or Bitten Point Series. I did like her Furry United Coalition, Welcome to Hell, Alien Abduction, Freakin' Shifters Series.
