I'm currently working on my Masters in Education, and always looking for a book that can grasp the attention of a child and this book did it. I read it and I loved it then I read it to a 2 year old, two 5 year olds, and a nine year old. They were so into it and could not wait to see what was going to happen next. The illustrations were magical.

I first read this book in a store in the mall out loud, and ended up reading it to a child who wanted to listen. He was probably eight years old, and he just laughed and laughed. This book is so funny, and I know first hand that children will love it.

This book is about a boy named Oliver who wakes up one morning with bedhead hair. He was so embarrassed from his hair that he didn¿t even want to show it to his family. They all tried to help him to tame his hair. They wet it, but once it dried it came back up. They tried hairspray, brushing it, and putting a cap on it. He decided to leave the cap on all day, and when he took it off his hair became wild again. He took his class picture and his hair was crazy.

This is a great book. I went to the library and checked out a stack of books and Bedhead happen to be in the stack. When I got home and went to read the books to my 3 year old nephew, he fell in love with this book. We have since check the book out 4 times and read it every time we go to the library. I have finally decided the book is well worth it and he is now getting his own copy for christmas. He has the book pretty much memorized and loves looking at the pictures and telling the story himself. This is by far his favorite. I would reccommend this book.
