Your writing is good but you make me wait for the next book to find out the ending. If your book can't stand alone I won't buy the next. I don't buy serials. I want each book to have a happy endings. That's why I read.

this is NOT a novella.  it is the first six chapters of a book.  and it doesn't even introduce the series well.

The book stops in the worst part. I refuse to patrone half books so I will not read the next one. Very bad form!

Wherein this was a very good novella, it was a disappointment as to how it finished.A three was given for the concept, the characters and writing ,not for baiting the reader to buy the next novella, to see how it ended. You lost me on that

Have had the pleasure of reading Before The Kiss, the introduction novella to Ms. Fresina's Book Club Belles Society series. The blend of regency romance, fun characters that are charming and interesting is what I loved. Her characters have a Jane Austen era feel to them and I think that is what makes them enjoyable. My one issue is that it was too short. Had to remove half a star for length. My review rating: 3.5 stars.

It is annoying that the overview does not mention that this is not a stand alone book. if I enjoy a free book by some author I'd be inclined to buy her other books. I DISLIKE THE FACT THAT THEY GIVE YOU A HANDFUL OF CHAPTERS AND BAIT YOU. THAT IS USUALLY WHAT A FREE SAMPLE'S FOR! ZERO STAR!

This prequel novella was charming, cute and funny. A short sweet romance. It's the perfect lead in and leavesvyou wanting to read the first book right away.
