About the Author

Kat is a mom to her two wonderful children, Sam and Zoe. For most of her career, she has worked with children with disabilities, including those with Down Syndrome and Autism Spectrum Disorder. She advocates for all children, and teaches strong leadership principles. The passion she has for helping her clients and their families extends far past her career. She advocates for others in a way that is fiercely persistent, genuine and full of love.

Kat works closely with non-profit organizations to raise funds needed in order to provide meaningful change for those in need.

Kat’s hope for this book is for it to be a catalyst for meaningful conversations and positive action, as we all move forward together in the quest for equality, inclusion and kindness.
