About the Author

Rose Impey has always shared her passion for stories with children: as a teacher she read extensively to her classes and later, as a parent, she began to make up her own stories for her two daughters. She is now a popular and well-known author of over 100 books for children of all ages including the TitchyWitch series, Colour Crackers and a number of novels such as My Scary Fairy Godmother. She is the creator of the very successful Sleepover Club series.

Rose Impey was born in Northwich, Cheshire. When she first left school she worked in a bank, but soon realised this was not for her, and went back to college to train to be a primary school teacher. Rose spends a lot of time visiting schools to read her work. Her books are widely published worldwide, including the United States, Australia, France, Denmark, Germany and Spain. Rose enjoys eating, talking, swimming and reading, although not necessarily in that order!
