The last thing I need is another complication.....

I'm a witch. My best friends know my secret so I no longer have to hide the truth. I should be relieved. My life should be easier than it was before. Unfortunately, things are rarely that simple.

Making matters worse, I feel a profound connection to a vampire named Finn. I see him in my dreams. He's under my skin and consumes my every thought. I try to resist, but he's always there and every time I look into his eyes, I find myself drowning in emotions I can't understand. My mind tells me I shouldn't be his, but my heart won't let me walk away, even when my life depends on it.

Then I discover the supernatural underworld is on the brink of a war that could destroy us all. As lines are drawn and sides are taken, I face an impossible choice: give up the vampire that's captured my heart or abandon my Coven when they need me the most?

This book is for readers 18 and up. It contains explicit sexual content.

Vampires, witches and werewolves ... oh, my! The third installment of the Bitten series picks up a few months after the events of Once Bitten, Twice Shy. The malevolent plans of the Faction—a group intent on controlling all species, including humans—is revealed, and their leader, Cornelius the Slayer, an evil, ancient and powerful vampire finally makes his debut. But when the Book of Shadows is uncovered and the prophecy of the Five is discovered it's time for vampires, shifters and witches to learn to coexist, because if they can’t accomplish that, then they will all perish. "One will live Two will die Three will return the Fourth to life Together the Five will right the past, Create the future and hold it fast All hold keys to power untold And will find their Fate as evil grows bold Five may live Five may die Five may love Five may fall Should this come to pass Then ten will save Creation Or lose that which they have found at last." Although Kerry Gayle's possibly the most powerful, gifted witch of her age, she's spent most of her life being shunned by the members of her own coven. Despite the fact that her mother had been greatly respected among witches, her father had been a dark warlock who practiced black magic. So when she's named as successor to the High Priestess, the announcement is met with outrage and objection by both elders and members alike. Considering the upheaval within her coven and the Faction's sinister plans, her life, which hasn’t exactly been peaceful the last few months, won't be getting better anytime soon. Then there's the fact that two of her friends are now playing house with vampires. As if that wasn't enough stress for a girl, for months Kerry's had a sexy, thousand-year-old vampire pursuing her too. But even if she wanted to acknowledge the dangerous attraction she feels towards him, coven edicts strictly prohibit witches from consorting with vampires. Finn isn’t just a vampire, but an extremely powerful practitioner of magic. Certain that Kerry is his soul mate, Finn has been haunting her dreams, arriving at her weakest moments, hoping to push past her reserve and make her give in to the palpable chemistry between them. And though he's aware his tactics have been underhanded, invasive and manipulative, in love and war, a vamp's gotta due what a vamp's gotta do, especially when he's trying to win the heart of the most powerful, stubborn, independent witch he's ever met. Somewhat more serious than its predecessors, Bewitched, Bothered, and Bitten was an exciting, page-turning story filled with twists and turns, allegiances and betrayals and a prophecy entailing the supernatural version of the Apocalypse. Kerry was a wonderful heroine with a great strength of character. Despite her lineage and the negative views of her peers, she knew exactly who she was and made no apologies for it. There was nothing not to love about Finn—especially those amethyst eyes of his. He was alpha without being a complete caveman, wickedly sexy, honorable, compassionate, thoughtful, and affectionate, but I wish the author had expounded more on his backstory because in many ways I felt he was still a bit of an enigma. Together Kerry and Finn had a great dynamic and I loved the chemistry between them. Another quick, sexy story in the Bitten series, Bewitched, Bothered, and Bitten combines a wonderful mix of action, suspense, humorous dialogue, erotic heat and a satisfying HEA to make for a very enjoyable read.

It’s been a while since I’ve read a paranormal book, and I was excited to read “Bewitched, Bothered and Bitten” – It was the perfect book to ease my way back into paranormal territory! Smart Witches? Check! Alpha Werewolves? Check! Sexy as hell Vampires? Check! Scary Evil Guy? Check! Sexy scenes between hero and heroine? Check-Check! This book has it all! I was not able to put it down and when not reading, all I thought about was: What could happen next? I don’t want to tell you the plot because I don’t want to give anything away, but it was better than good. Fun to read, easy to understand. The characters are likable and you can identify with them, I also found myself wanting to know more about them. It was entertaining and I cannot wait for the next one! (Even though it is part of a series, it could be read as a standalone). I’m not disappointed at all as I truly enjoyed and lost myself within the pages of this book. You should do the same.
