This review is from: Beyond the Consequences: Book 5 of the Consequences Series (Nook Edition) I was so giddy that Ms. Romig had chosen to write more about Claire and Tony. Their story to me had seemed unfinished to a certain extent. I would certainly recommend reading the rest of the series before reading this as you would miss out on a totally mind blowing read. All of her regular characters have joined in BTC (Beyond the Consequences), and while we don't get to know the others as well, they are MUST to have the flow of the story uninterrupted. I am more amazed as Claire's strength continues to grow, as well as her self awareness. Tony, is well Tony, and at this point most all love him for his love of Claire and Nichol. I saw hints of Darkness in him, however I won't spoil and let you know if it comes out or not. I also know, that by saying I still have strong feelings of hatred for Claire's sister Emily many will think I'm nuts. Sorry to disappoint, but I really have never liked that chick. I look forward to reading whatever Ms. Romig writes. Maybe Phil would be a good choice for his own book. 5/5. A definite must read!

This series has been a roller coaster ride from the beginning. I've enjoyed reading all the books from this series of starting out wanting revenge for family honor, ending up in tragic loss and then love Ms. Romig is definitely an author on my must read list!

A totally different Tony emerges in this final chapter of the story of Anthony and Claire's mixed up love affair. While it took away some of the suspense that propelled the stories preceding it, it was still a nice way to tie up loose ends. And, yes, there were still some questions to be answered as we hit book 5. The author tied it up nicely. To be honest, this was a series in which I never thought I'd be a fan. I was reluctant to start it, but Aleatha Romig grabbed my attention immediately and it was all I could do to hang on for the wild ride. Reading all five books in a row, I had a huge book hangover from this series when it was done. To me, that signals an excellent read. Thank you Aleatha. After this, I'd read anything you put in front of me!
