Summary of Birth of Ganesh: This is the story of how Lord Ganesh was born. Lord Ganesh is the son of Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati. Parvati creates a boy out of chandan (sandalwood) and Shiva doesn’t know about it and he happens to see the boy guarding his own house.
