Black and Green is the eleventh book in The Academy Ghost Bird Series.

Sang Sorenson's father abandoned her and her sister, leaving them to fend for themselves for months. He's returned, and finds Sang is missing. He demands she return. Right now.

Will he call the police if she doesn't?

Her Academy team doesn't want to risk losing her ghost status and she doesn't want to put them in danger, so she reluctantly returns home, but is comforted that she will still be monitored by them.

But the second she opens the door, she discovers her father has made changes that will affect her entire future. His decisions will make them a normal family.

Normal is no longer what Sang wants. It would kill her Academy career before it ever started. Not to mention it would end the special, new, and still-fragile relationships with the guys.

Sang struggles with her family, her identity, and where she truly belongs. Now that the entire team knows about their romantic relationships with her, tensions are mounting, tearing the team apart from the inside.

Only, Dr. Green isn't going to lie down and roll over by playing by the rules. Not anymore. Not while Sang is at risk.

His heart can't take leaving her in that house one more minute. He needs her. They all do.

This newest addition to the series is a great book. There where twists in it I did not expect and solutions that seem to come out of left field. But it is a wonderful story and I love how the chapters are now. Makes it more interesting to be able to read from other points of view in the stories. I love the ideas that Mr. Blackbourne comes up with to help Sang sort out how everyone is or is not feeling. How Sang can figure out some of her questions and aleve some of her worries and stress. Dr. Green's idea to help her out of a mess is just brilliant and extremely unexpected. Thank You for sharing you amazing gift and talent of writing with all of us.

The books are a fun and relaxing way to escape from everything. I only think the author had better beta readers to catch her mistakes and make sure her continuety is flawless, which it isn't right now in either Academy series.

I think it was worth the wait! C.L. Stone listened and edited the book more than previous books. I really liked how this book was written too. Love this book and the entire series! Can't wait for the next one.

This series of books is one of my two favorites I've ever read. I absolutely love them. But out of all eleven books in this series, this one stressed me out and was the most emotional for me. Sang had finally gotten to a point where she was pretty happy and was just getting what she wanted - to be with the guys and be allowed into The Academy. Then the unimaginable happened and she was basically back where she started, if not worse. It seriously tore me up to see the grief and heartbreak she and the team were going through. (Although I did kinda like Jimmy. He seemed like a nice kid, even though he had a crazy mom.) I actually read the book slowly the first time because it was so emotional, and twice before posting this review. All I can say is thank goodness it ended on a happy note. I would have been in agony for the next few months if it hadn't. I can't wait for the next book! C. L. is amazing! Although it seems like an eternity between the books, each and every one is well worth the wait! One of my two favorite authors ever!

I could not have wished for more reading this next installment in the Gohst Bird Academy Series. I felt love, anger, sadness longing and happiness along with the characters. C.L. Stone does a phenomenal job connecting her characters to the reader and making them realistic. I am so excited for the next one.

Love this book series, have read all of the books so far. Have been waiting forever for this one to be released. Devoured this book in about 6 hours. This book definitely follows Dr. Green and Sang than I was expecting base on the title. I figure you hear more about Mr. Blackbourne too, but it is still a great story and I cant wait for the next book to come out.

The books keep getting better. I can't wait for the next one. I could pop both Carol and the stepmother in the face. But I love Dr. Sean's momma and Erica. I hope everyone enjoys this book.

Once again, CL Stone has created another novel with Sang and her boys that blows my mind. So many authors attempt to create a plot that continues on to so many novels in one series but many fail because they can't keep things interesting. Not true for this one. This is one of my favorite series of all times and somehow every book involves the characters in new and interesting situations that keep me on the edge of my seat. What I really love about the series at this point in time is how the relationships are evolving. There has been a continuous and slow build up from the very first book that has had me wanting more. And here I am reading Black and Green and finally seeing the development of the relationships moving a little faster. Don't get me wrong, it isn't that I don't like how things are progressing, instead it was the fact that it seemed to be progressing so slowly but it was definitely worth the wait. Something that really intrigued me in this novel that changes things up a little bit compared to the rest of the series was the point of view. Instead of the book being wholly from Sang's perspective, there are chapters from Sean's (Dr. Green's), Kota's, and a couple of the other guys. Usually I'm not a fan of the shifting perspectives because it can get confusing but it was done so well that I fell in love with even more with these characters. In other books it was kind of hard to guess what everyone was feeling because Sang's depiction of the boys was the only basis to go off of. Yet in this newest novel by CL Stone, the boys had a lot more voice and I LOVED IT! So if you are a fan of the series don't be scared to buy and DEVUOR this novel! It has kept up with what the series has promised and added so much more than what was expected. Just when things seem to be getting easier, there has to be something (or someone) that stirs the pot and throws the group out of whack. So go and buy this book (and/or the series) and enjoy the magical world of Sang and her Academy boys.

Was worried at first it would all be about the new home issue. It's not. Covers a lot of ground. Title confuses me some. This is Dr. Green's book. From the title I thought Mr. Blackourne would move his relationship forward too. I did devour the book in one day. Hate to wait for the next installment. Want it now!

The way this book was written was amazing. I finally understood Dr. Sean better. I hope the rest of the books are written this way.
