BLACK FLAMES OF FIRE

Rebellious KATIE REED, a once high entity, is cast down into the lower pit of darkness, but by chance, escapes. Katie settles down in the small town of Brooksville, Mississippi working as a waitress at Charlie's Diner. There she meets and develops a sisterly friendship with Pauleen Davis Brown. One night on a date, Pauleen and her lover are attacked by a strange animal. He is mutilated and killed. Pauleen is taken to the hospital and diagnosed with amnesia.
