Lots of plot twists and turns. Some are pretty far fetchedbut thats why we call them nivels. About 270 pages that kept me involved from start to end.

At first I was irritated by Ben Kincaid's whiny and immature demeanor! I continued with the both and grew to like the character. The story line will keep you wanting to read to the end. I will read the next book in the series.

Big let down after the first book in this series. It was almost like there was a rush to put out this book and the thought wasn't put into it to do a proper sanity check of the story. E.g. a character says that right after firing three bullets, she didn't want to put the gun into the hand of the patsy as it might've woken her up. Really? Not worried about the firing of a gun 3 times, but don't touch her hand, now that would wake her. Anyway it was just a lot of these little issues that made no sense (including a completely unprovoked confession) that just made the whole story become As frustrating, the main character Ben sounded like a woman, during conversations with his tough guy buddy cop Mike, I thought they were about to start trading recipes and prefernces for feminine hygene products. And frankly the character just wasn't believable as a lawyer with all the ineptitude, and its not that I have issue with a character having faults, this character just fouled too many basic lawyerly things to even think they could have ever passed the bar. Anyway, it got worse as the book went on and I had to stop with about 20 pages to go, which was too bad as it's hard to find a good lawyer/mystery series.

I haven't read the first book but didn't find this book needing the first book of the series. I enjoyed the book and believe most readers will also. The story was exciting and the characters were interesting.

This book is part of a series. The story was interesting. I hate that they lure you in by having one of the nook books in the series for 1.99 and then the rest are more expensive.

I loved reading this book. This is book #2 in the Ben Kincaid series of 4 books...not knowing this I will now read book #1... Primary Justice. I'm sure I will like it.

For my senior government class, I had to choose some law related book from a list. I picked Blind Justice, because it seemed to be the only one that would keep my interest without entering into matters I did not care for (one was about a pedaphillic serial killer). I'm really glad that I did. It caught me up in the first chapter when Ben is wondering what's wrong with his office (there are chickens running amok, toilet paper everywhere, but its the man with the gun pointed at him that's the answer). I read it fairly quickly and was not bothered by the fact that it was the second in the series. I've been trying to read the rest but so far I've only found one really far down the list (7?). You should definitely get this, especially since its much cheaper than the one I had to get (almost 20 dollars).
