A good read with interesting characters, funny situations, steamy dates, good friends, and conniving enemies. The author slowly develops Ali's history, showing her strength and resolve. Ali and Tyler were living their dreams. She was finally a reporter at a real magazine. He had his own successful band. Ali's celebration morning after offered more than a hangover. Tall, ripped, inked, and in her bed. IN HER BED? Yep. The grinning man, Tyler, took her to breakfast and said he'd call. Yeah, right. Surprise, her first assignment was an up and coming new band. Tyler's band. He acted as if all was good despite the failure to call. She interviewed the rowdy guys and the testy girlfriend and wife. The article was a hit--with everyone but the band. When Tyler came to the magazine to call her on it, an emergency confined the two of them for several hours. She ended up excepting a date after he told her off and helped her deal with the situation. Trust is an issue. Sexy rocker with fangirls all over him. Her history is an even bigger problem. Ali's inner self seems to know what she wants more than she does. Her reaction to the comments popping out will make you smile even laugh. Tyler brings her out of herself. Can she believe in love, again? Can the two people with careers going in different directions come together? The storyline and characters will keep you turning the pages. Reviewed for Words Turn Me on.
When you have given up on love, love will find you. At least that was the case for Ali. Tyler was used to easy flings and moving on but Ali makes him think twice about his current lifestyle. Together along with other strong personalities, like Chaz the book had you laughing, crying, cheering and cringing. A great read!!
