Overview

Justin is a Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) instructor with blazing speed and almost superhuman strength who leads a neighborhood watch group to help protect the most vulnerable women in their community.

Marie is an MMA fighter who lives to love and loves to live, especially on the edge of trouble. Justin, who is by far the best instructor she has ever encountered, has also become the subject of almost all of her raunchy sexual fantasies. Being close to him and smelling him sends these fantasies into high gear even as she trains in a gym packed with thirty other students.

After Justin saves her from being attacked, Marie realizes that her feelings go deeper than sexual attraction alone. She knows that Justin is reluctant to have sex with a student but pursues him brazenly nonetheless. Her roving hands, as relentless as her fantasies, leave him teetering on the edge even as the reputation of the school hangs in the balance. But she doesn’t know that Justin is guarded for another reason: he is able to call up the Shadow of the Leopard, an ancient powerful spirit whose bloodlust once resulted in him killing two cops.

As the attraction between them intensifies, Justin is forced to make a decision: keep walking the tightrope he is on, or surrender to Marie and risk putting the school in jeopardy or even worse….

Blissful Surrender is a 31,000-word novella.

About the Author

MC Fields has had many different careers ranging from washing dishes, to serving as an aircraft technician in the military, to instructor at a local college.

He developed an interest in martial arts early in life, learning from three distinct styles over a twenty year span. At 14, he learned some basic boxing techniques from his older brother who attended the same gym as Canadian featherweight Ian Clyde. Later at 19, he entered the ring and won his only recorded amateur boxing match. He would round out this training with two years in Shotokan Karate and an additional two years studying Aikido. It is fusion of these techniques that adds to his unique brand of writing.

He continues to train now, physically, mentally and most recently spiritually through daily meditation practices and music. His physical training regimen consists of 30 minutes aerobic strengthening exercises mixed with yoga, core and boxing workouts. For spiritual growth, he attends weekly guided meditation sessions as well as maintaining his own daily meditations through the use of a phone app. He also enjoys playing guitar and writing music as well as performing at open mic sessions.
