Blood and Sorcery is the second book in the Coven Enforcers Enforcers series. It blends seamlessly with book 1 picking up right where the first one leaves off. This is an excellent paranormal romance. The plot is simple, good vs. evil, with lots of exciting twists and turns. The characters have lots of depth. If you are looking for a fun, exciting paranormal romance then this is a great series for you!

I received this book free from the author to read and leave an honest review. Joshua, a Coven Enforcer, has always loved Breana but she was married to another. Don, her husband, had used black magic, which, in the end, killed him and their daughter. This second book in the series is as good, maybe even better, than the first book. There's romance, danger, action, everything you want in a book that keeps you involved and on the edge of your seat. Again, this is such an excellent and well-done concept, I was sorry when the book ended. The characters are well thought out and well developed. The story is amazingly well done with enough twists and turns to keep you wanting more. I've been enjoying this series, and can't wait for the next book.

Dreams come true This book is staring Breana Giraud and Joshua Kingman. Breana had been a side figure in book 1. Her daughter and husband succumbed to evil and finally died. She “supported” them by not telling and handing them over to Coven Leadership, because she had always hope to save her daughter. Now she is alone, has to face the loss of her only child, and the terrible things her husband did to her to break and corrupt her to black magic. Two Enforcers stay with her on her farm to help her out and wait for the judgement from Coven Leadership. While they are there, evil darken than before rises, taunts them and strikes whenever possible. They thought they have cleared evil from that pieceof land and have some downtime, but it could not be more wrong. What does evil want or who and for what? How can they defeat it? Do they have a traitor in their own lines? Hester arrives and joins forces, adding an important new tool to their use of white magic. Joshua had always had a crush for Breana, but she had been married and now that she is free, he knows she needs to mourn her the same time he wants her for himself. During their fights his love grows continuously and he swears to protect her. In this story they face an old and strong evil which they have to defeat before the Coven arrives. They will have to deal with being in other worlds, find allies and survive long enough to win this fight. This world that the author created is quite awesome. It is the old battle between good and evil and how easily the corruption can happen. It starts with simple tiny little things and ends in total devotion to the dark. The characters are strong and have very cleverly designed new tools, fantastic idea from Ann (apologies, but I can’t be more precise or I would spoil part of the story). Again from the beginning up to the end very well developed, great story and likeable characters. While I can totally recommend these books, I suggest you start with book 1, because book 2 is a continuation from book 1 and it would totally spoil the fun of reading book 1. It can be read as a standalone, but you will want to know how the total story ends. If you like romance with a great story located in the Wild West and with magic, this is your series. I received a free advanced reader’s copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

This is books 2 in the coven enforcers series In this book Jashua is one of the covern enforcers and he has loved Breana for over 100 years but she was married so he did nothing. Now that her her evil husband and her daughter is dead Breana is free and so is Jashua but he wanted to give her time to morn before telling her his feelings. At least that was his plan until the dark mage's leader wanted her for his own. Now Jashua will anything to keep her safe and make her his. WOW got to say Ann Gimpel knows how to tell a tale and keep you guessing! The story is amazing and the characters are so believable and fun. The drama is wild and the spice? Well that is fantastic. If you like witches, magic, westerns or all of the above this us your book! Book given for an honest review
