Overview

New York Times bestselling author Kristen Proby continues to delight the senses with the latest novel in her delectable Fusion series.

As the take-charge wine bar manager of Seduction, Portland's hottest new restaurant, Katrina Meyers is the definition of no-nonsense, and she isn't afraid of anything. Well, almost anything: she hates to fly. When she's forced to travel on a death trap with wings, the turbulence from hell has her reaching for any safe haven—including the incredibly handsome guy sitting next to her.

Ryan "Mac" MacKenzie hasn't been able to get his sexy seatmate out of his head. The way she clung to him stirred something inside him he didn't think existed: tenderness. As the owner of a successful wine touring company, Mac thinks he's got a handle on what life can throw at him and he's not prepared for any surprises, especially in the feelings department. And when he brings a tour into Seduction, he sees the petite spitfire he just can't forget.

Mac is determined to discover what else they have in common besides fine wine and the inability to keep their hands off each other. But what will it take for two stubborn people to realize that what they have is so much more than a hot chemistry between the sheets and to admit to falling in love…?

When Kat hooks up with Mac on her out-of-town sexcation, the last thing she expects is for their no-strings fling to turn into something deeper.Katrina Meyers is a tough, brilliant wine-bar owner whose anxiety gets the best of her on her first-ever flight on an airplane. Luckily, a sexy stranger's guidance and support sees her through to the other side. Ryan "Mac" MacKenzie is in the business of giving wine tours to small groups, so it's no huge surprise when they meet up at a Napa Valley wine conference. They're attracted to each other and hook up for mind-blowing sex but agree that they're both too focused on work to let it turn into a relationship. Still, when Kat returns home, she's disappointed that Mac doesn't call—until he shows up at her job with a tour. Later, she's surprised to learn that he's recently moved into her building. As Mac and Kat get to know one another, issues with their parents come up. Kat, it turns out, is a certified genius who went to college at 16 and has a doctorate in psychology, largely because her scientist parents urged her to pursue something academic. Mac's father lost his job as a realtor and developed a gambling problem so serious he lost their home and drove away both Mac and his brother; the boys pay the rent on a place for their mom, who enables their father's addiction. If this doesn't seem like much of a plot, have no fear. There's a girl fight, a brief kidnapping, and a baby born. But the real story is the slow, sexy burn of Kat and Mac's relationship. With the third book in her Fusion series, Proby proves that she's a vintage that ripens with each page.

## Another ASTOUNDING book by Kristen Proby. What a fun and sexy read! Mac and Kat had all kinds of chemistry. And I love that Kristen let them have so much fun together. The banter in this book was witty for sure and made me smile throughout. At first I didn't think I was going to like Mac when he says: I won't pursue you. Bleh, what an arrogant thing to say. But turns out I ended up loving him. Thanks Ms. Proby for not portraying him as a 'player'. Boy that sh*t gets old. And Kat was great as well. Very kind and sweet, yet really strong. At one point she tells the hero that he can boss her around in bed no problem, but out of the bedroom she has her own mind and opinions and they count. Go Kat. I am adoring these heroines in this series. Doormats need not apply. Another thing I like is that the covers match the descriptions. It enhances the story when you can visualize the protagonists. I can't wait for Riley or Mia's story next. And if you could sneak in a story for Chase that would be fabulous!!

4.5 Stars I have to say this has definitely been my favourite of the series so far, I didn’t even read the synopsis for this book before I dived in and that is definitely unlike me. This is the third book in the Fusion series which centres around five best friends and their booming restaurant. Kat is happy with her single status, she doesn’t see the need to fill her life with a boyfriend when her friends and her business are such important parts of it. She sets off for her sexcation looking for a no strings attached week of fun between the sheets, Enter Mac. Mac doesn’t do relationships, he is totally against them and doesn’t have time or the patience for a woman in his life. What starts out as a sexcation, then some more no strings attached fun when the pair return home quickly turns into something so much more for both characters. These two characters have definitely won the top couple spot in this series for me, I loved the way their relationship progressed. Mac was bossy, sexy, charming and totally swoon worthy when he needed to be, he drew me in and made me fall in love with him. Kat was fun, sassy, independent and so smart she blew me away at times. This story started off as your typical anti commitment characters and slowly built up the suspense until it had me hanging on to the edge of my seat. I guessed some of the things that were happening and going to happen next but it didn't take away too much from the actual story. I am super excited for the rest of this groups stories but I think Mia is going to be my favourite. There is something about her that I relate to and I can’t wait to see where Kristen takes her on her own journey.

When a new book from Kristen Proby is set to come out, I automatically preorder. This book totally lived up to that expectation. Kat is a tough girl who knows what she wants and goes after it. Mac is the typical bachelor who thinks playing the field is all he wants. They discover that love is better than anything in this world. Funny, sexy, and a hint of danger. Read it in a day. Can't wait for the next.

I’ve been in love with the ladies of Seduction since the very beginning. Kristen Proby has created strong female characters who are not only competent and smart in business, but who also know exactly what it is they want in other aspects of their lives as well. Blush For Me is the latest in the Fusion series, and it’s Kat’s story. Here’s what I love about Kat. Not only is she all the things I said I love about Kristen’s female characters, but Kat also has a vulnerability that makes her believable and real. I want to be Kat’s friend! Oh, make no mistake, Kat is a capable and confident woman, but every strength has a corresponding weakness; one she cannot hide, even from to the stranger seated next to her in First Class. Enter, Mac. Oooh-la-la. What’s not to love about a caring, and did I mention gorgeous, man when he’s coming to the aid of the beautiful panicked woman in the next seat. Gotta love a guy who takes charge! But you gotta love him even more that he knows when to let the woman take the lead, and he’s just ready to step in when she needs him – even when she may not know she does. I was in love with Mac in Chapter One! Blush For Me is, of course, the romance between Mac and Kat, but it’s rich with back story, family drama, and even a little danger, that elevates it to something more. Oh, and yes, of course Kat’s Seduction partners (whom we’ve met before) have supporting roles. The ladies of Seduction are good for a few laughs and maybe even a few tears with some especially sweet and tender moments. Kristen Proby’s Fusion series just keeps getting better and better. Five sweet and sexy stars.

I was really looking forward to Blush for Me. I thoroughly enjoyed Listen to Me, the first book in the series and this one did not disappoint! I loved the premise of meeting at a Wine Convention. Also meeting on the plane to said Wine Convention in Napa, California. It is also good to note that Kat is deathly afraid of flying and this is her first time on a plane! What’s more, she is by herself! Enter Mac, her seatmate who helps her through her harrowing experience. Such an amazing guy. Also, did I mention that he reads romance books out loud to Kat? Kat and Mac’s chemistry is through the roof! I love the dominance without the kink! I’m not sure I mentioned it before but BDSM just doesn’t make me think romance. This one had just the right touch! Both Kat and Mac are not looking for love, but they found themselves falling for each other. I love the slow romance development between these two! There is a little bit of family drama in the end, but nothing too dramatic. Overall, an awesome read! I can’t wait to read Mia or Riley’s story next!

Blush for Me is the third book in Kristen Proby's Fusion series. When I'm in the mood for a fun and steamy romance, this series has really hit the spot. Ever since I met the girls at Fusion, I was excited for Kat's story. It didn't disappoint. Kat was just as fantastic as I thought she would be. Kat is one of those women who is perfectly content being single. When she goes away on a work trip, she decides she needs a little sexcation. Vacation sex without strings. She meets Mac who fits the bill perfectly. Mac isn't one for relationships so they have the perfect set up. When Kat comes home and finds out that Mac works and lives near her, she doesn't know what to think. Kat and Mac have fun together so they figure it's no harm in having some fun and sleeping together for a little while longer... but the more time they spend together the more they start to truly like one another. These two perpetually single people start to fall. And they don't know what to do about it. Mac and Kat together. Holy wow. This is by far the steamiest K Proby book I've read in a while. Their chemistry was explosive!!! I loved how much they had in common and how they treated one another. Mac is by far my favorite hero of this series so far. I loved how bossy and in control he was, but also how thoughtful and sweet he could be. They really made a great match. Even if they didn't know it at first. Towards the end of the story, there was a little more suspense/family drama added in, but it wasn't too over the top and didn't take away from the story so I didn't mind. I'm not sure if Riley or Mia's book is next, but I'm really hoping it's Mia. I don't care who it's with- I'm just dying for her story! If you're looking for a book that's sweet, sexy, lighthearted, and a whole lot of fun, pick up Blush for Me! I enjoyed this one lots!

I forgot how much I loved this series and I hate to admit that I forgot about this treasure of a series. I know I’m horrible … but once I dove into this one, the past two books came rushing back to me and it was insta-love all over again! And it just got me all excited to read Blush for Me. Blush for Me is the third book in the Fusion series and it’s Kat’s story! Well, Kat and Mac’s story. If you haven’t read the previous two in this series, stop reading this and do that … RIGHT NOW! They’re all standalones, but trust me, you’ll love reading Listen to Me and Close to You. Kristen Proby is one of those authors that’s always a 1-click buy for me and I was so happy to meet her when they came out to Hawai’i and hosted an author event. I’ll get back to the review since I’m getting off topic. In the beginning of the book, Kat is absolutely dreading flying for the first time to a wine conference in Napa. Being terrified to fly is one thing, but getting lucky and sitting next to a hot and charming man to her soothe her storms of worry is a completely different story. That fortunate man happened to be Mac! And that’s where it begins for the both of them. Mac was so sweet and endearing as he tried to calm Kat as much as possible. If only we were all ever so lucky to be on that flight, I’d have no complaints! Once Kat gets through the flight, sickness takes over her and she quickly exits the plane, ending our little swoon fest. Just like that. Despite her fear that entire flight there was definitely a connection between the two of them that leaves a lasting impression. Since Kat is supposed to be on a “sexcation” (yes, it’s exactly what you think it means), Mac would be just the person. And the odds seem to be working in their favor as their paths cross again at the conference. After a few glasses of wine, they agree to have a no strings for their entire stay and say their good-byes once the week is up. But lets be honest, like that’ll truly happen. I loved this book so much, as soon as I finished it, I wanted to read it all over again. I was so thankful for the extremely low angst, if there was too much, it definitely would have taken away from the story and their relationship. Proby flawlessly intertwines all of the characters in this series, while not taking away from the main characters. It’s hard not to love Mac and Kat. I’m a Washington native and have so much love for the Pacific Northwest, so I enjoyed all the places Proby mentioned. 10 points for Mac being quite the romantic type of guy, he is so attentive to Kat, even when she’s extremely independent. He loves to take care her. Kat is definitely a friend that EVERYONE needs, shoot I now aspire to be like her. She’s feisty, dependent, extremely loyal, A GENIUS, and has so much of her heart to give. Kat, I love you! You’re the best! You’ll definitely enjoy every moment of their story, it’s lighthearted and no petty drama! I love a book with zero petty drama. However, there’s a bit of suspense towards the end!

**I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.** I am a HUGE Kristen Proby fan and I am always amazed at these characters she creates. She creates these men and woman that I just fall in love with. They are tough and tender and resist relationships but then just cannot resist each other and every one is different and I just fall so in love with the characters and story. This is the 3rd book in the series and while I totally enjoyed the first two books in the series, this is the one that I fell hard for. This really was a fun story but it also really reminded me of the Seattle series and the friendship and family the characters created in that series and now I am finally feeling it with this story. This series takes place in Portland where 5 women own a very successful wine bar. The partners are Addie, Mia, Kat, Cami and Riley. In book one Addie met Jake, a sorta rockstar/jazz musician and they married and in this story she is extremely pregnant. In book 2 Cami fell for her best friend, Mia's brother Landon and they are also married in this story . Now it is Kat's turn and she is the sexy, red head, tattooed, tough girl who is also a genius and runs the bar area. Kat is this really happy character. She grew up as the genius daughter of two scientists and they travelled and homeschooled her. She is a PHD who decided to become a bartender and she really is a great bartender and manager. In this story she goes away on a wine conference/tour to Napa. Having traveled with her family she only traveled by car so this is her first flight EVER and Mac gets seated next to her. He comforts her because she is beyond afraid and after they discover they are at the same conference. They decide to have a sexcation and no relationship. But Mac falls hard and knows he will find Kat after as he lives in Portland too and knows her bar. Kat and well Mac they are really magic together. Both are these sexy and tough characters and they really are amazing together. I loved how this book you start to see the friends and their significant others have melded into a family of sorts. Kat also has a great family and is close to them and Mac has a brother, Chase who is close too. He also has a difficult relationship with his parents but even though his family is very involved in this story. Having both sets of parents so involved in this story really made me love it more. Mac, is that dream guy. He really reminded me a lot of Luke from the Seattle series, as he was so sweet and romantic. The things he did for Kat were just dreamy. Once he decides he wants Kat well he goes after her in such a way I fell hard for him too. Kat came off as this tough, independant and sweet girl and she totally is. I loved that she was so open and sweet with Mac and how welcoming she was in bringing him into her life. I LOVED Chase too and I cannot wait for his and Riley's story.

Damn Kristen Proby and her deliciously sexy men, quirky strong women, and scintillating stories. Well, I guess I really shouldn't be cursing her, she's delivered yet another freaking winner. Her Fusion series, is quickly becoming my favorite and that's saying something after her With Me in Seattle series. Blush for Me started off a little quicker and sexier than the other two books in the series. Mac and Kat have such a palpable chemistry, it would be categorized as suffocating if I didn't wallow in it and love it so darn much. Kat brings a witty liveliness to this book that really had me quite envious and and in love with her personality. Then there's Mac... Sigh... I would fight to the death to call dibs on this man. He's just the quintessential book boyfriend. I might even go as far as to escalate him to book husband. That's a big step for me. My commitment issues are screaming, but Kristen Proby has somehow created the man I'd be willing to take the plunge for. Too bad he's fictional, such is life. But these two together, steam up the pages, and just simply made me swoon SO. FREAKING. HARD. at every turn. The cavity I go from their sweetness was definitely worth it. Overall, a true winner and must-read. Kristen Proby proves once again she can do no wrong, and deliver the epitome of swoon-worthy and devourable books again and again, with Blush for Me. If you don't read it, you have my sympathies and angry stares, you'd be missing out for sure. As for me, I'll be idling by with my one-click finger read for the next in this saucy, sexy and sassy series! Happy Reading! *ARC provided by the publisher for an honest review*

Blush For me is a kind of story that you have to enjoy and savor like a tasteful meal with good bottle of wine. A rich wine with well matured tannins and a very good length. I really enjoy The Fusion series. The stories are an explosion of unexpected flavors, where independent, stubborn women met their match, sexy and determined men. So sensual. Each time, it’s a success! Katrina Meyers, is the bold, spit fire badass wine bar manager and great listener. I like that there’s more than meet the eye, behind the tattoos and pin-up style, she was someone you want to discover, to see the fragility and sensitive side. She was very intriguing, full of sass with a bubbly personality. Ryan "Mac" MacKenzie, charming and tempting man. Sexy and sweet, hot and caring. As a successful owner of a wine touring company, his encounter with Kat is the beginning of an adventure that he doesn’t want to end. Utterly captivated and under the spell. Katrina brought up feelings that he didn’t expect. He was knocked out! One week together, a “sexcation” and you knew that the two of them would definitely see each other again, the pull and attraction was incredible and undeniable. Definitely not fighting this, this week was the perfect opportunity to enjoy the moment with no expectations. I liked the spontaneity and very passionate times. When something good happens and makes you happy, all you have to do is to seize the opportunity. Just like Kat and Mac Kinda like the spirit! Kat and Mac’s relationship is just thrilling, exciting and so refreshing. I enjoyed the spontaneous side and sparkling wit. The banter was really great and enticing. With two strong personalities, sparks will fly! I liked how they completed each other. Kat is used to handle things with steely determination and with a man like Mac, she could let him being the in charge in the bedroom. Because holy moly, that man … a mix of sweetness and freaking hotness that melt my heart! Really good and delightful! I am so tempted to read it again. I literally devoured that one! Mac and Kat, a good bottle of wine, a cosy place to read and you are all set! Next book please??

Kat loves wine. She's the owner of Seduction, a restaurant in Portland that she runs together with her best friends. She's responsible for the bar and the quality drinks they serve. When she needs to go to Napa Valley for a wine conference she has to face her biggest fear, flying. The man next to her on the plane, Mac, helps her through the worst of her panic. He has the same destination and they spend all of their free time in California together, no strings attached. When they leave they will say their goodbyes and will never see each other again, but is that really what they want? Mac and his brother run a successful wine touring business. When he meets Kat he knows spending just a few days with her won't be enough. How can he convince her to see him again? Fortunately he knows where she works and it's the perfect destination for one of his tours. He will make sure Kat doesn't forget him and wants to start dating him. However, neither of them is looking for a long-term commitment. What will they do when they can't stay away from one another? Blush for Me is a great romantic story. Kat is tough. She has tattooed sleeves and a fun and sexy dress style. I liked her look a lot and immediately loved her personality. She's honest and isn't afraid to let Mac know what she wants. I admired her courage and her spunk. Mac is good-looking, calm and levelheaded. He's great at surprises, he instinctively knows what Kat needs and he's a wonderful kind man. He likes a challenge and Kat is the perfect woman for him. They have amazing chemistry, they can talk to one another and they understand each other on a deep level. Their connection is unique and beautiful. Seduction is a terrific setting, it's a restaurant with an interesting concept filled with friendship and laughter. The place has a good vibe and I enjoyed reading about the wines, the food and the easy affection of the owners for each other. Kat is a special woman and she deserves precious people in her life. When she's around things are never boring. I loved that there are so many unexpected twists and turns and the ending is surprisingly gripping. I highly recommend Blush for Me, it's a fantastic dazzling story.

4.5 - "It's the journey, not the destination..." Stars! Kristen Proby, is one of my go-to authors when it comes to contemporary romance, this is an author that for me has delivered again and again when it comes to her couples, series development and the story-lines she gives them. Blush for Me delivered on all three counts as expected, and the Fusion series just goes from strength to strength as each of the Seduction girls meets and falls in love with their matches, and quirky Bar Manager Kat’s coming together with Ryan ‘Mac’ Mackenzie was as good as the preceding books. "Do you spit?" All stemming from a sexcation on a wine tasting trip, Kat was expecting the connection that she found with Mac to fizzle and die once she returned home, but Mac has other ideas, especially when he realizes that their proximity to each other is not a million miles. I liked that the relationship between these two was built away from the rest of the girls and Seduction, Kat has played an active role in the previous books, but she was really given a chance to shine in this one, and as a reader I feel like I got to know her better as a character in those first few chapters when she is on her own with Mac. "You pay attention, and that means a lot…" "You mean a lot." There is a little familial drama on Mac’s side, but it wasn’t overplayed, it added to the story ‘just right’, and we are also introduced to his brother as well (also single), so hopefully there will be a book there at some point in the future. "It’s the journey, not the destination." I am loving this series, this is an author who knows how to build something exceptional book by book, and although each story is about a different character, everybody who has already been, and is still to come is kept involved in general as the series develops, everyone included in it does as well. you almost feel like part of the family the more books you read as its like visiting with old and very much cared for friends. Book four in the Fusion series; The Beauty of Us, is due for release in August, and I am really looking forward to seeing ‘unlucky in love’ Riley, finally get her own happily ever after. **This is a voluntary review of an advanced copy of the book.

4.5 Blush Worthy Stars!! Blush for Me is the third installment in the Fusion Series and follows the story of Mac and Kat. For wine bar manager, Kat, there isn’t much that scares her. Between her strong and impressive IQ and devotion to her friends and job, she is a total no-nonsense type of gal. But when Kat finds herself on a flight for a wine tour, she quickly discovers that there is one thing that could bring her to her knees….Flying. As luck would have it though, she was graced with the best possible flight mate, Mac. He calms her down and gives her the strength she needs to make it through the flight. Before they know it, the flight is over, leaving them parting ways…Of course, fate had other plans for these two. When they find themselves on the same wine tour, they spend an unforgettable, no strings attached week together. Their connection is intense and undeniable. Neither one of them can get the other out of their heads and when fate decides to intervene one more time, Mac and Kat can’t stay away from one another leaving them with no other option but to see where their amazing chemistry will take them…. Overall, I think Blush for Me is a wonderful addition to the Fusion Series. This story is incredibly well written and entertaining. The characters are a lot of fun and they just feel like you’ve known them forever. You can’t help but fall for them the moment you meet them and just see where the story is going to go. I loved spending time with Kat and her friends. They are the type of girlfriends that any woman would be lucky to have in their life. And of course, I loved Kat and Mac. Their chemistry was solid and strong. They were the perfect balance and I just couldn’t get enough of the pull between the two of them. Blush for Me was a fabulous read, from beginning to end. The story was captivating and filled with the sexy and sweet romance that I have come to love from this author. It was perfectly balanced with a little bit of suspense and mystery along the way. Blush for Me gave me everything that I was looking for and I can’t wait to get my hands on the next book in this series!

First of all, let me say how much I adore the cover for Kristen Proby's Blush for Me! At first it looks like it is a cute and safe book. But... um after I read all the hot and sexy scenes, heck no! This is far from a safe and conservative book. And that is what I love about it! Mac is just yummy mixed with some spicy attitude, sugary love, and a touch of alpha! The perfect ingredients to your new book boyfriend. Kat is made of sugar and spice, and everything ...Well nice is not all she is, but feisty too! Seduction is their amazing bar that Kat and her friends own. Blush for Me can be read as a stand alone. But why would you want to do that? Well, I did and let me tell you I need to peddle back. This is the third book in the series. Kat and her group are fun, flirty, and thriving. If you decide to read this as standalone, you will have that immediate connection and probable back peddle back with me. I need the back story on some of the other characters. Wine! Wine is a huge connection factor for Mac and Kat. Grapes were never so sexy!!! Sexcation never sounded so good. Have you ever read a book that you felt the strings to your heart attached too? Yeah this happened to me. I relate to Kat with the whole body blush thing. Its just in our nature! I highly recommend this book. Kristen always does amazing with her writing and she of course did not disappoint with this one! LOVE IT

Kristen Proby and her Fusion series bursts with flavor. I keep coming back because the message is a powerful one and the characters are hard to ignore. Fusion is built on sisterhood, friendship, equality and love. The message: "It's okay to be different, just be yourself." We all need to hear that at one time or another and being true to oneself is the greatest piece of advice a person can receive. Kat wears her self - confidence like a badge of honor. She speaks her mind. Goes after what she wants and is working on facing her fears. When a test of fear comes back to bite her in the butt, her white knight is there in the next seat to hold her hand. Mac is no hero, but he is tempted to break his own rules. Now he has to decide, if facing his biggest fear will net him his greatest reward. Love with attitude. Kristen Proby does it up right.

Another fun story to add to the series!
