It takes bravery to be yourself in front of your peers. When Bodey engages in imaginative play on the playground, his classmates mock his creation. Bodey's emotions bring him down, until he is taught to take ownership of his reaction, thereby finding the courage and grit to be true to himself in the face of ridicule.
