About the Author

David D. Cree was first published In the 4th grade. With teacher suggestions and parental provisions, his “What is Gray” poem landed in the 1993 book “Great Poems of Our Time” from the National Library of Poetry. This sparked an interest for weaving words into a wonderful experience. Besides words, David’s interest in the arts ventured into web design, graphic creation, and hand drawn art. Building a portfolio of design work worthy of refrigerator door magnets, his skills improved and lead to an extensive catalog of designs on thousands of products and merchandise. Today, David writes and illustrates children’s books, no longer having to choose between the written word and visual artistic expression.
