This isn't really a reading book, but a guided workbook that allows you to practice on each page a letter with that cursive style. It goes hand in hand with the author's recently released book, Brush Pen Lettering. So to have this in addition to the regular book can be beneficial, but it's fine to use it alone. The lines inside allow you to practice and continue to practice throughout the book. It reminds me of a child's book, where they start off writing cursive in school, for me it was second grade. Finally, like at the end of the book, you actually learn how to write perfectly or close to it, and it becomes second hand. For me, this book was a great guide and helpful. I really love the setup and the many pages to practice on. In addition, there are even words to copy and practice as well. So, for a workbook, this can be quite helpful to have and comes with plenty of pages to practice on. "I received a free copy of the book in exchange for writing a review"
