About the Author

USA Today Best Seller, Nana Malone's love of all things romance and adventure started with a tattered romantic suspense she "borrowed" from her cousin.

It was a sultry summer afternoon in Ghana, and Nana was a precocious thirteen. She's been in love with kick butt heroines ever since. With her overactive imagination, and channeling her inner Buffy, it was only a matter a time before she started creating her own characters.

While she waits for her chance at a job as a ninja assassin, in the meantime Nana works out her drama, passion and sass with fictional characters every bit as sassy and kick butt as she thinks she is.

Just what you expect fom Author Nana Malone a book you cannot put down. A story of a injured tennis star and the young women he met who gave him the will to make a comeback . Really great story. L.M.A.

I have read a lot of this author's work and this story is to similar to the Cartright story. It is a good story but I would prefer something different than two injured tennis players finding their way back on the court and finding love.

I was thrilled to find an author that wrote a tennis romance. I've always seen football, baseball, hockey and such and enjoy them, but to finally read one for tennis, Yay! This was a good book from start to finish :) Great characters and a story line that was easy to fall in love with. Keep it up :)

Bryce needs to recover from his injury but has not real drive until he sees Tammy. Together, they face their fears and move forward with their lives. Bryce was a sweetheart but a little too used to getting what he wants. Tammy was strong but had to learn to let go. I enjoyed this listen. I received this is a audiobook, and this is my unsolicited review.

Perk up and pay attention to this hot, swift, wicked serve. Tami has the goods and don’t mind showing them. She serves a wicked ball and a bit of ice to chase it down. But that does not stop Bryce. This was an introduction to a new series that has grabbed my attention from the jump start of the blurb, prologue, and then as I continued to turn each new page. Tami and Bryce have some serious chemistry and make a fantastic team. I was excited to see that Nana had returned to tennis again. She gave a good solid growth to love with the subtle hints at attraction for the game, the serve, the feeling, the couple. Things did not just steam roll over you and jump you straight to the chemistry brewing between them. They taught one another and things grew from there. The passion. The drama. The next page, please. I am looking for Dax, up next.

I am a huge fan of sports romance and this one did not disappoint. Bryce, after suffering an injury, meets Tami who ends up saving him from being mugged. Bryce is immediately taken with Tami; their courtship starts off a bit rocky as Tami is no pushover but Bryce proves hard to resist. I loved this book and am looking forward to the next one! I recommend.

This is story of Bryce a professional tennis player who has an career ending injury and feels the pressure from his sports dynasty family to get better and back in the game. While he feels like he can't take it anymore and depression looming he by chance meets Tammi a retail sports store worker with a history with tennis. The chance meeting would be gold to others but Tammi feels the opposite. It takes her a while to warm up to Bryce, although the attraction is immediate, because she doesn't trust easy and wants to earn her spot in life not have it handed to her. This is a great story I love the build up but I only gave it 4 stories because the ending seemed a bit rushed. However I feel it will be redeemed it the next book in the series. This felt a lot like it was a long introductory to the other characters' books to follow. Great job. I look forward to reading more.

I liked this book a lot. It was a fun read. I like the characters and look forward to future books in this series! Nana Malone didn't disappoint with her strong sassy female character!!! I loved the chemistry between Bryce and Tami and the supporting characters were fabulous! The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because I was hoping for a little more between Bryce and his family in the end.

Passion beyond the court. Sports can give you great pleasure when you enjoy playing and you are successful or great anguish when you can't play the sport you deeply love. This love for the game brings Bryce and Tami together in a passionate, sexy, and romantic story about how this passion can transform you in more ways that you ever imagine. Bryce seems to have it all, but there is more behind the golden boy of tennis, specially after a devastating injury. Tami has nothing, but her love for the game she had to leave behind. They come from very different worlds, but their love for the game and the passion that increases between them is exactly what both need to overcome the tragedies of their past and move towards a successful and bright future together. This journey is not without obstacles and even though their journey is a bit bumpy and more fearsome that it has to be, together they can accomplish anything in and out of the court.

I really enjoyed reading this book. Great start to a new series "the Player Series". This is a great combination of sports, love at first sight, & romance. Bryce and Tami made a great couple, they were exactly what the other person needed. Both was dealing with whether or not a comeback was in their future. Bryce dealing with an injury and Tami dealing with her mothers illness and a broken heart. From beginning to end I was routing for them to make it in a relationship and on the court. Along with lots of steamy lovemaking and family made for a fun read. Nana Malone as always did a great job. Looking forward to the next read. Bring on Dax.

This book was great. It was a classic romance with a twist. So Bryce gets injured on the tennis court in a major tournament at the beginning of the book. As he goes through healing and rehab, he's having a hard time trusting that he is really healed and can perform the way he did before. His family is no help to him since they keep asking him why he's not doing more and when is he going to start playing tournaments again. Tami has been hurt due to the loss of both of her parents and then by a boyfriend who turns out to be engaged to someone else. In addition, her job does not fulfill her and causes additional stress because she does not go out with any of the guys so rumors circulate. She uses tennis to vent her stress and frustration. Enter Bryce ... Both Bryce and Tami are dealing with trust issues; with others and with themselves. They want to trust and believe but they've been hurt. They pair up for mixed doubles tennis tournaments and start to build trust in themselves and each other. It was nice to see the underlying theme in this book and not just the typical romance. I enjoyed watching the characters learn and grow and deal with real life issues. Fabulous book and I definitely recommend it. Looking forward to the next book in the series.

Tami is making it, just barely. Her dreams ended with the death of her mother. She'd taken care of her mother and ended training for a possible tennis future. Bryce is recovering from an injury on the court. His future is a question. Will he ever recover enough to compete again? It isn't your normal meeting over coffee for them. Rescuing Bryce from a robbery takes the last connection to her dream away. Her racket made a pretty good weapon. Wealthy guy that he is, replacing the racket, is nothing to him. But she is proud and has good reason not to want anything from a wealthy man. She insists on doing it on her own. Bryce wants to do more than replace her racket. He wants Tami. The battle is a tough one, families, pride, history, all war against love. What will win? Is there a future for them?
