Drake Travis earned his Bachelor's in biblical literature from Simpson University (now in Redding, California), and his Master's in Literature (New Testament) from Alliance Theological Seminary in Nyack, New York. He was honored with the President's Cup upon graduation from Simpson for having the most positive influence on college life. He was ordained in 1994. Drake received his doctorate degree in Christian Leadership in 2011.
Drake has been an associate pastor of youth, worship, music, missions, and collegiates. He spent seven years as pastor to students at Central Washington University. During those years the "Salt Co." grew from twenty-five to nearly one thousand students who were involved in the ministry. During those years about 450 more became Christians and nearly five hundred went on mission trips to eighteen countries. Drake has taken/trained/sent more than 1000 people into sixty countries doing missions.

For several years Drake helped a medical team provide Christian-based care and surgery for about 4,500 people annually in Vietnam. Currently, Drake is the president of Brave Heart West Coast (www.braveheartwestcoast.org), a program in Northern California that will activate leaders for this millennium. His missions, crusades, and relief work, plus studies, have taken him to many of the fifty states and to nearly fifty countries on five continents. He has an undying sense of humor and an unsinkable joy in the Lord. He absolutely loves life with his wife, Serena, who often travels with him and speaks to women.
