USA Today bestselling author Jennifer Bernard returns to Jupiter Point--where sparks are starting to fly...

Wildfire "hotshot" Josh Marshall is all about fun, firefighting and flirting. But ever since his crew got trapped in a burnover, he's been plagued with recurring nightmares. It's not just the fire haunting him - it's an ongoing family drama that's kept him determined to stay strictly unattached. Now that's all changing-but is it thanks to that near-death experience or his attraction to the sexy, fascinating, engaged Suzanne Finnegan?

Suzanne, honeymoon-planner extraordinaire, knows exactly what she wants: marriage and a stable home like the one her family lost in the financial crash. Her fiancé Logan fits the bill perfectly, unlike the distracting, live-for-the-moment Josh Marshall. Sure, her chemistry with Josh is insane and Logan is way more focused on his work than their relationship. But she has a plan, and she's sticking to it.

Except fate has a way of making plans go up in smoke.

When Suzanne's fiancé goes MIA at the worst possible time, Josh saves the day. Then the heartbreakingly handsome firefighter gets badly hurt saving one of his crewmates in a wildfire, and Suzanne finds herself coming to his rescue. Jupiter Point's real-life hero is fast becoming a partner she can truly count on-even if she knows it can never last.

Still, if they're all wrong for each other, why does it feel so right? Because there's simply no ignoring sparks that Burn So Bright.

I absolutely love this series about the Jupiter Point Hotshots. Burn So Bright gives us the story of Suzanne and Josh. They are attracted to each other, but she’s engaged to Logan. Josh is always making people laugh, so he’s not taken seriously by a lot of people. I won’t leave any spoilers, but I will say you will not be disappointed by reading this book. I love the relationships the firefighters have and how the town supports each other. I can’t wait to read Brianna’s story next.

Wow!! I am loving these Hotshots from Jupiter Point!! Josh is the new hotshot and is a playboy, not looking for anything serious until he meets Suzanne, can they be more than friends. Suzanne has her life planned out, marriage, kids and white picket fence until her fiance asks for a "free pass". There is an intense sizzling chemistry between Josh and Suzanne, that they both try to fight off until an injury to Josh and Suzanne plays nurse to Josh. Then they finally open their hearts to each other. This is great addition to Hotshot series, can be read as a stand alone. I highly recommend this book, can't wait for more.

Josh Marshall is a member of the Jupiter Point Hotshots. He's the jokester of the group and he just loves riling up Suzanne Finnegan. The only problem with him wanting her so badly is her fiancé. Suzanne is Jupiter Point's honeymoon planner extraordinaire, but she can't get her own fiancé to show any real interest in her party planning. She tried putting together a relationship with Logan based on how logical they are together, but being around Josh makes her FEEL. Then a few different circumstances arise that throw Josh and Suzanne together. They must decide if they have what it takes to get to a HEA. Great book. I would recommend it to anyone.

You won't want to put this down! In Burn So Bright, Jennifer Bernard has created characters that jump off the page. Suzanne Finnegan has a plan for her life, and it seems that everything has fallen into place. She has a good job, a fiance with the same life plan as her, and now it looks like she may just have a chance to get back her childhood home. What she doesn't need is a a hotshot firefighter who is her exact opposite. A man makes no plans or commitments and thinks everything is a joke. But when Logan doesn't show for an important event, and her chance for her dream house is on the line, Josh Marshall steps in to help her. Suzanne is everything Josh avoids. She has her life planned out and is the long-term commitment type. Everything he is not, thanks to growing up with front-row seat to his parents fights, both before and after their divorce. Despite the reasons he should stay away from her, Josh steps in to help Suzanne achieve her dreams. As her fake fiance, they become friends, really getting to know each other, finding that there is more to the person behind the persona they project. Life has a way of derailing plans, as both Josh and Suzanne find out. A stray dog, an accident, Josh's parents, and a jerk of a fiance conspire to take these two through the unexpected twists and turns of life. Jennifer Bernard has created a wonderful town, populated with amazing, three-dimensional people. The dialogue and the interaction between all the characters was so much fun. The story line was so entertaining, I hated putting it down when life interfered, and was anxious to get back to it. Although it is part of a series, it can easily be read as a stand alone novel. This is such a great series, you don't want to miss a sentence!

Hot, hot, hot! Jennifer Bernard does it again! This is a stand alone novel that is the second in the series. I loved the first one, but I think this one may be my favorite--so far!!! Suzanne is a consummate planner, right down to her PowerPoint presentations. She's built a relationship with Logan based on progressing to the next point in her life. They have mutual interests, but no love. When Logan is a no show, yet again, Suzanne scrambles to find a substitute fiancé. In walks Josh.... Josh, a hotshot firefighter, is committed to NOT committing. He's emotionally scarred from a lifetime of watching his mom and dad constantly fight. His past has made him swear off marriage and children. He's also a free spirit who doesn't plan anything, polar opposite from Suzanne. He likes Suzanne, likes to spar with her, and even finds her sexy. He also realizes she's engaged and off limits! When Josh stumbles across a frantic Suzanne, he agrees to pose as her fake fiancé. He wants to see her happy, even though he doesn't like Logan. Suzanne and Josh begin a journey of "fake engagement". As they get to know each other, they find they truly enjoy each other's company. Suzanne realizes Josh isn't the jokester he always pretends to be, but a kind, driven, intelligent man. After Josh is seriously injured while fighting a fire, Suzanne rescues him from having to go home with his parents to recuperate. While caring for Josh and Snowball, she has a "lightbulb" moment when she realizes Josh is EVERYTHING she's always wanted, but didn't plan for. Suzanne also "sees" Logan for the selfish jerk that he really is. The ending was AWESOME and gave me a warm, fuzzy feeling. Not kidding! The ending was somewhat suspenseful, but it does end with a HEA. Snowball was a great addition too! I can't wait to read more about Merry and Bri! I highly recommend this novel. I read a gifted copy and the opinions stated are my own.

I was hoping that Josh and Suzanne were going to get a story after reading about them in Set the Night on Fire. I loved how much chemistry they had even when they were arguing. Josh and Suzanne were a fun couple to read about!! I just loved them! I can't wait for the next book! I would definitely recommend this book!

In the latest Jupiter Point novel, Burn So Bright, by Jennifer Bernard, Suzanne has her life all planned out: husband, perfect house, eventually kids. Josh also has his life planned out: fires, flirting, and definitely no kids. However, best laid plans are not always the best and fate has a way of stepping in. These two shouldn’t be perfect together, yet they are; both have far more to them than they show to the outside world. I loved watching Josh become more serious and Suzanne lighten up. They balanced each other out well. I love Bernard’s writing style and she definitely kept me laughing throughout, which made the pages turn quickly. I’ve been hooked on the hotshots since this series started and I can’t wait for the next installment. I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this novel.

Burn So Bright is the second in Jennifer Bernard’s new series based in Jupiter Point. The first book in the series was great but I loved this one even more. This book gives us the story between Josh and Suzanne, and I fell in love with Josh right from the start. I really enjoyed watching the relationship build between these two people develop. The banter between them help make these characters real and brought humor to the story. This book can definitely be read as a standalone book but I highly recommend reading them both. You won’t be disappointed!

Jennifer Bernard does it again. Book 2 in the Jupiter Point series is another smash hit! Josh and Suzanne are both sweet and hot. Josh is a bad boy but with a sweet side. That sweet side bares itself when he helps Suzanne out. Suzanne is the by the books kind of girl. She knows where her life is going and how it will get there. Right from day 1 their chemistry is intense but Suzanne doesn't "want" chemistry...she wants stability. Something she believes Josh can't give her...so she tries to stick with boring Logan. I fell in love with Josh and Suzanne in Book 1 and couldn't wait for their turn. It was SOOOOO worth the wait! Such a great book. Ms. Bernard doesn't disappoint us. One you want to read. But beware....its hard to put it down. If you are new to Ms Bernard's books...read this and enjoy...then go get the rest of them. You'll be happy you did.

Jennifer Bernard has written another winner! The characters of Suzanne and Josh intrigued me when they made an appearance in the first Jupiter Point book. Their chemistry just continued to grow and get hotter. This book can be read as a stand alone. Ms. Bernard writes with humor. I love a story with a hot romance, but makes me laugh too! Jennifer has become one of my must read authors! I hope you all enjoy this book as much as I did.

Burn So Bright is the second book in the Jupiter Point series featuring Josh and Suzanne's story. I have been looking forward to this book since I read the Set the Night on Fire. The bickering that went on between these two was just setting up the huge charge when they came together. In this book we get to learn more about Suzanne's fiance (who I wanted to hurt) and why she puts up with a lack luster relationship. We also get to see why Josh is so anti-marriage and love. ( His parents are seriously crazy!) I really feel in love with Josh, the more I read. He is definitely more than meets-the-eye. I really enjoyed this book and can't wait to see more about Jupiter Point and their Hot Shots!

Suzanne thinks she has her life all planned out - marry her fiancé, be a good lawyers wife, live happily ever after. And that's how she liked and wanted it. She needed stability. Common sense. Josh likes his life just as it is - being a hotshot during fire season, traveling footloose and fancy free the rest of the year. No roots. Never getting married. But then, they happen to each other. They have great chemistry, but they try to overcome it. But Suzanne needs a fake fiancé when hers flakes out and Josh is always willing to spend time with her. Then Josh gets hurt rescuing another hotshot and Suzanne immediately goes to him. And rather than go to the craziness that is his family in Texas to recup, he goes home with his fake fiancé. Can they make it work or will it burn so bright it burns out? Read this book! You'll love it!!

Once again Jennifer Bernard wrote an amazing story with Burn So Bright, the second book in her Jupiter Point series. This series feature the Jupiter Point Hotshots, a crew of wildfire fighters. In this story we meet Josh Marshall a fun-loving crew leader who helps out Suzanne Finnegan when her fiancée goes MIA. During their time together they find the chemistry between them is not imagined. I loved the how Ms. Bernard manipulated the characters to learn that you can’t have a marriage without chemistry, mutual respect, and love. She also showed readers, and her characters, they you should not just settle because you believe it’s the right thing when it’s not. Lessons can often be learned the hard way. It’s okay to pursue your dreams, but avoid the red flags that appear along the path. This was a fun and entertaining story with loveable characters that you want to support and cheer on hoping for that happy ending. The characters were well written, authentic and complex. The story line was riveting and kept my attention to the very end. I genuinely enjoyed reading this book and had trouble putting this book down. I highly recommend this book, and all others previously written by Jennifer Bernard to all readers and I cannot wait for the next story in this series. I voluntarily reviewed a complimentary copy of this book.

"Burn So Bright" is written by Jennifer Bernard, and it is the 2nd book in her Jupiter Point series. It can be read as a stand-alone book. It features Josh Marshall and Suzanne Finnegan. I have been anticipating Josh and Suzanne's story since they were introduced in the first book in this series, and it definitely did not disappoint! They had so much chemistry! They bickered, but boy, were they hot! And they were always there for each other. Josh is one of the hotshot firefighters. He's carefree and fun. Sometimes, Suzanne questions his laid-back, carefree attitude. They may bicker, but they respected one another and knew they could depend on each other. Problem is... there is that attraction. But Suzanne is engaged, which makes her off-limits. Suzanne's fiance, Logan, is always making up an excuse to not be there for her when she needs him. She wants her happily ever after, but she's starting to question whether or not she can find that with Logan. Suzanne would love nothing more than to buy her childhood home back. The catch is the owner is under the impression she's engaged. She is, but what is she going to do if Logan is always MIA? Simple. Josh can pretend to be her fiance! Josh doesn't even hesitate to play the part. Suzanne needs him, and if he has to pretend to be her fiance, he will. He realizes the importance of her childhood home. Will Suzanne be able to buy the house? What happens when Josh gets injured while tending to a wildfire? What happens when Logan returns? "Burn So Bright" is such a great, well-written book! It kept me on the edge of my seat, and I did not want to put this book down! I loved every part of it! I enjoyed seeing Josh and Suzanne's relationship grow into something more. They were genuine. They always had each other's backs. Simply put, they were the perfect couple! Any romance fans will love this story! "Burn So Bright" is must read!

WOW! I have read every book Jennifer Bernard has written and I have to say she just keeps getting better and better. I fell in love with Josh when I read the first Jupiter Point book, SET THE NIGHT ON FIRE. He's such a fun character, and always makes every scene he's actually in better. I loved the heroine, Suzanne, from the first book as well. But Josh I think steals the show each and every time. Together they are a pair you just can't help but root for. Watching them clash, and interact is awesome. I love small town romances, feeling like you are part of the town, connecting with more than just a few characters, it's all so very appealing to me. BURN SO BRIGHT is one of the best books I've read this year. The setting is engaging, the characters are realistic and fun, the writing it outstanding and the overall storyline leaves you smiling and wanting more. This is one of those can't put down, why does it have to end reads that will leave you eager for more. I can't wait to see what Jupiter Point has to offer next! Please write faster Ms. Bernard, I need to visit Jupiter Point again and soon. Highly Recommended!

Loved this story!! It's the second in the Jupiter Point series but can easily be read standalone. Josh Marshall is the happily go lucky flirt in Jupiter Point's Hotshot team. Never wanting any strings or attachments, he always keeps things light. Suzanne Finnegan is serious and determined. She wants a happy life and that means marriage and kids. Now that she's engaged to Logan things seem to be progressing nicely. So what if he's not as attentive as he could be and so what if the passion between them is barely a flicker. You can't have everything. Right?? Why then did she have this intense draw to Josh Marshall. He is all wrong for her on so many levels. Friends are all they ever can be. When Josh is hurt during a fire fight, Suzanne finds herself playing nurse for him. Logan may be the man she needs but Josh is the man she wants. What the heck does she do now??? A great read that everyone will enjoy. I highly recommend it.

This book was exciting, fun and heartwarming! Josh is a wildfire fighter and when he's not on the lines of a fire he is a jokester who doesn't have a desire to take life seriously. He likes his free lifestyle and doesn't want to change it. Suzanne is his total opposite. She is a planner with goals to achieve her perfect future. I really feel in love with these characters and their quirkiness. I was smiling through most of the book but there were some intense parts also that had me biting my nails a little. The interplay between Suzanne and Josh was hot but not overboard. All in all, a great story!!

Suzanne Finnegan, a party planner, is proud that the event she just planned is a resounding success, if only her fiancé Logan weren’t absent. Again. Suzanne wants a stable future, and Logan is part of that carefully planned out life. Logan is so unlike Josh Marshall who just waltzed in with the rest of the Hot Point hotshots, wildfire fighters. Suzanne likes Josh, he’s funny, gorgeous and sweet, but flighty; he is so not her type for the long haul. On the other hand, Suzanne is exactly Josh’s type except for one major flaw: she’s engaged. Make that two major flaws: she is into long-term relationships and Josh isn’t. The Logan pops a very unpleasant surprise on Suzanne when he announces that, before they tie the knot, they should sleep around. Suzanne is livid, she gets a bit tipsy and makes a pass at Josh. And if you’re rolling your eyes, thinking you know exactly where this is going, you don’t know Jennifer Bernard! With BURN SO BRIGHT, Jennifer Bernard validates her superlative storytelling talents! Josh seems to be all sunshine and insouciance, while Suzanne is recently – understandably – somewhat grumpy, and while she doesn’t try to deny her attraction to Josh, she knows he’s only temporary; should she risk it? I loved how Ms. Bernard meticulously plotted BURN SO BRIGHT, there are so many unpredictable twists and turns, and Josh and Suzanne’s relationship is quite the suspense! The characters are extremely well defined, the banter between the firefighters is absolutely brilliant, and I really loved the honest exchanges between Suzanne and her journalist friend, Merry, as well as the conversations Josh and Suzanne have, as real friends do. I also fell in love with Suzanne’s dream house, the Casa di Stella, which is a character of some importance in BURN SO BRIGHT. I also loved that we were privy to Logan and Suzanne’s heart-to-heart talks, and that they were not just mentioned in passing, because it was important to get the feel of that relationship. I have seldom seen such exceptional character development, as well as an amazing ending that kept me on my toes until the end! I knew that Josh’s story would be interesting, but BURN SO BRIGHT surpasses my wildest expectations! I voluntarily reviewed an advanced reader copy of this book.

If you want to read about a couple who will make you smile, shake your head, AND drive you crazy…Josh and Suzanne are the couple for you! Burn So Bright, by Jennifer Bernard, is about another member of the wildfire “hotshot” crew – Josh – and Suzanne, a honeymoon-planner from Jupiter Point. There is so much I want to say about these two but I can’t come up with the words for what a great couple they are AND how great they make me feel. They both have back stories that will break your heart but in true HEA fashion, they are so much stronger, and better, together. I think Josh and Suzanne may be my favorite couple of Ms. Bernard’s yet. There are some really funny lines that just pop up…they will make you break out in laughter. Just be warned that folks around you may think you’ve lost it. I really enjoyed this read (and book one in this series) and it just keeps getting better and better. And you will love Snowball!
