Evvie meets Mike when she's hit by a baseball he hit. There's an instant attraction, yet they seem to do nothing but irritate each other. They are thrown together a few times, come realize they were unfair to the other and then can't stay apart. Until a misunderstanding happens and they're both miserable. They do get their HEA and watching them get there is very heartwarming. Very quick and enjoyable read. I received an ARC and am voluntarily leaving my review.

We are back with another entertaining story about the Gentileschi sisters. Seven princesses from an island off Italy who have come to the USA for education or achieve other accomplishments. Two have found their HEA and now it just might be Evvie’s turn. She’s a neonatal nurse whose form of relaxation is going to baseball games. When she goes to unwind after a tough day at work, little did she expect to be hit by a baseball and then rescued by “prince charming” aka Mike ‘The Jag”. A star player of the opposing team she went to see. Their first few encounters were less than stellar . But as usual , what you see in the exterior is not what really is in the inside. Their relationship is full of ups and downs. Will they get their HEA or will past promises and beliefs separate them forever? The story had an engaging plot with complex characters. If like me you enjoy baseball, it will make this one extra special. Looking forward to the next story of these sisters. I was entrusted a copy of this book. The opinions expressed are solely my own.

Again, another poorly edited novella sold as a book. It's not. It's 100 pages and so far beneath the normal quality of this author.
